I got a talaria. The main factor for me was the battery connections, also for the same price the talaria has more watts and bigger battery. I know that surrons come with larger batteries now. I agree that the surron is better for people who ride on streets and the talaria for trail riders.
@@Burnt_toast11typically any bike without a working brake light and at least a mirror and signals is not street legal so short answer no but check your local laws and even if they are you will need a motorcycle license to operate legally.
Sadly in a few ways yes.. The sting was built bye guys that use to work for surron but lefted after segway bought in they didn't like the Designs they was pushing. So the sting is everything the main creators of the sur ron wished the surron would have been.
I own a talaria and I'm curious where people keep getting this story from I hear it being spread around but don't have any proof of this is what's actually going on
Nice, glad you made this video because I was kinda torn. I'm getting a Talaria, because I can't find the Surron for the life of me lmao. Interesting to learn that you actually have Segway X260 instead of a Surron tho.
@@vennomrides107 I've night rode it with the stock one mant times and it works just fine I am planning on upgrading mine eventually though but the 1 I want is almost $200
Lots of videos on how to disconnect them it's very simple just pull them out of the brakes and then follow the wire down to where they're connected under the hood and unplug
Imo e bikes are fun and quick toy like yet very not toy vehicles if that makes sense. Gas bikes are the ones you ride daily. E bikes are a sunday funday type
Is'nt it a dirt bike? Where do you live that you can ride on the streets. We have to be street legal, tags lights , turn signals with insurance and a motorcycle endorsement on our licence
Im going with the Talaria nice vid Thanks G bear

Ay bro if it’s not too intrusive where do you live? Is the talaria Street legal there? I want one but kinda scared it will get confiscated by police

Your Sur Ron feels smoother because you're riding the Talaria on knobby tires. The Talaria's drivetrain is so much smoother than the Sur Rons imo.
Love your videos Gbear
The sur ron x you can program the brake/kickstand sensors off, and regen with the brake levers. As well as full power mode without cutting wire.
Talaria you just unhook wires no cutting anything , and unlock it.not cutting either just a button dance
@shockadellick do the button dance again I believe
@@shockadellick that's what I was told haven't tried it myself tho
G Bear i love your videos
Love your videos bro, keep up ur good work
Hope to make it to a ride sometime. Me and my fiance are going to start a channel when she gets an ebike. Hope to ride with you and Richmond sometime

@@braylonc162 Haven't watched that one yet thanks for telling me
I was wondering how tall you are so I can have reference compared to the bike
How much is the sur Ron?
Range?
Now you have to review the Talaria Sting R…
just ordered one, how do i change the sensor problem?
You can disconnect them pretty easily

sur ron with the seat lift kit is way better.
What ones cheaper ?
Lol he talks about the price in the video if you watch it. But he said they’re about the same talaria Is about 100 more
Talaria is in canada

epik
I just wish it wasn't no 7k to buy one I would definitely get
They’re 4.5k lol
Profile is a big con if you ride more street than dirt. The sur-ron can pass as a ebike where as the sting looks like what it is a dirtbike
They look very similar my talaria with street 17s looks just like a surron ..it's only slighty bigger
how tall do you need to be to ride that bike
im 5"8 and its perfect for me tbh (im only 14 tho😭)
No 😂
Yo
Yow yow 7 min pog champ I'm early
Can someone do a “sur ron” counter. I can’t count that high 😂
Love mine, bought it cuz 1)cheaper
2) I'm tall and chubby lol
I'm scared I'll have to be on my tippy toes since I'm 5'7
Hiiii
$7K Canadian here in Quebec.
Thanks but no.
$5k canadian in ontario. weird lmfao.
It's the taxes that kill us. We're double taxed here. Provincial and GST.
Highest taxes in North America.
I got a demo in ontario for 4700
That's weird it's more since my dealer bought from ebikezilla and they are in Quebec lol
@@sa2ah0 Sorry...my bad. They're 6k including tax for the entry level model. Still too much for an electric bike.
best e dirt bike for $500 less
