HI, installed this system in June, 2024. Kept the FREE subscription. 2 days ago the camera facing our driveway quit detecting motion, therefore, has not recorded any new clips. Our doorbell (purchased/installed) at the same time is still working as it always had. Of course, Blink tells you that you cannot record any clips without a subscription - after the FREE 30-day subscription. (Again, the doorbell still detects motion and records - free subscription). Any suggestions what to check so the camera will work again.
I agree the plan is fairly priced, I just have too many subscriptions right now. Therefore, I just got a large USB from Amazon and stuck it in their. So far, no issues!
Costco 199 for 3 outdoor cameras, a door bell camera and a indoor pan tilt camera. It was on sale from 279. They should have it on sale again for Black Friday
Can I use the blink module two without the Internet? And still access the camera from my phone using the module to? What I'd really like to do is be able to take a camera when I go camping and film any wildlife that hangs around my RV at night and look at the footage later. Can I do that with this system?
I think you'll need a trail cam for that since internet isn't always available when camping. And then you can just check the camera recording on a trail cam unit. It would be cool if it could work with your phone. But where I go camping there isn't any cell reception. I think k this Blink system is for a house that has wifi already.
I'm having trouble getting a Wi-Fi signal to my outdoor cameras. I live in a two-story house in India. My Wi-Fi router and the Blink module are located on the second floor, while the three outdoor cameras are installed on the ground floor: one in the front, one on the side, and one at the back of the house. I only receive a full signal from the front camera, while the side and back cameras only get one bar of signal. I've installed a Wi-Fi extender on the ground floor, but I'm still unable to get a full signal to the side and back cameras. Moving the sync module downstairs hasn't helped either. I'm unsure if I'm making a mistake in my setup. Could you please provide some suggestions?
I got mine $283 total for 4 outdoor cameras (160), mini 2 indoor (20) and doorbell (30) plus sync module (50) and USB (16). Each camera has a sync that I now don't need - maybe I paid extra for them😢. Seemed like a deal at the time and the sync module allows all 6 to be on one sync module/ USB.
Motion detection is nowhere near as good as the original blink outdoor and in my personal opinion I'd say don't bother wasting your money just buy the original
JUNK JUNK JUNK!!!!!!!!!! JUST tossed mine in the garbage! The BIGGEST PITA after swapping out a router! Wouldn't re connect.... ALWAYS is an issue IF the power glitches, internet drops, ANYTHING!
Yeah that's weird. Idk maybe maintaining them. Have 4. Spent $70 on 2 outdoors (on sale) Have 1 mini 2. 1 indoor. Haven't had 1 problem. Until someone hit the grid near me. They reset themselves when the power went back on. Everyone should have a backup. battery powered alarms. They work no matter the condition is@@ph1ll1p

Does the (white)external storage comes with the camera OR is it sold separately please?
If you buy the 3 pack of cameras. I am sure it comes with the device. If you buy an individual camera, I don't know.
That looks easy😂 thanks for the video because I was not about to hire someone. I’m going to Best Buy.
Excellent step-by-step. Worked great!
Glad it helped!

Wait! How do you "pop-on" the camera to the mount!!!

Try putting the module next to a window
You can buy silicon covers to protect the cameras from the elements
are there specific ones to this camera?
can you plug them in and not use batteries ?
They make a solar panel for them if you don't want to use batteries
how water proof is this thing. Looks like its exposed to the elements
It's got a gasket to seal the internal electronics from the element. All mine are still working great
@@DuctTapeMechanic ok good just wondering Thanks for your help

It is so simple you should have got a teenager to help you
Culo
The outdoor cameras are crap. But the wired Mini 2 cameras work better and far more reliably.
