When it’s on waste does the valve have to be opened so water comes out the back like if your doing a backwash? I’m trying to vacuum the waste but don’t see any algae being vacuumed out just rises to the top
yes just like you're going to backwash, except set it to waste.
Can you use this product during the day time?
Yes that is what I did. make sure you let your floc sit!
How are you vacuuming to waste? What kind of vacuum are you using?

What if you use the red shock and don’t have a vacuum? Need help kinda new to this
Don't think you're going to get away without vacuuming. you can kill the algae but you need to remove it from the pool.

What do u do while using this kit and your pool water is still yellow?
Is it clear and yellow? This kit basically just flocs it for you to then vacuum out debris. How's your filter?
@@lowcountrylowdown9000 filter is good! I backwash water clear.. it's actually teal now.. I used my robot vacuum nothing on the bottom now.. it's just the water is real now.. so idk if I should add regular shock.. my pool is a 23 ft round above ground.. about 5ft deep..

@@Nyoka-vp4oc Not sure without knowing all of the chemistry. Have you taken a sample to a pool place or tested all over your chems?

I would think a very similar process, all we're doing is vacuuming to waste to remove dead algea.
I have a cartridge, you can pull your cartridge filters out of the filtering housing to circulate the floc without the filters, basically acting like a bypass or recirculate option on a sand filter, and then I ordered a backwash hose off Amazon and pull the union connector that goes from pump housing to filter and put that hose on the pump housing to vacuum to waste
2 kits so u have a 40,000 gallon pool? Ain’t no way!!! If u had to use 2 kits these stuff is junk!!!
my pool is 25000-27000 gallon, over the limit for one kit for sure. I used two to be on the safe side. I wouldn't say they're junk...it did work and it's fairly inexpensive. There may be a better product on the market...not sure but for the price tag I'm ok with it!!!
