Hi friends!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this film! We can’t wait to hear what you think of this adventure & if you think it was worth the exhausting hike to the hut! Adam & I are currently in Positano, learning to make pasta from scratch with a UA-cam friend who we will feature in our upcoming films. 🥰 We’ll be online this evening to get back to all your messages 💛 xx Tania
Loved this one. I met you (digitally) from your visit with Sara and Luca and Lucia. You all are so amazing. I am 80 years old and did challenging adventure travel for 15 years all over the world so now, although i still kayak and swim with dolphins (in river next to me) and bike, the intense stuff is gone so, being able to go along with you all vicariously is simply fantastic. I can so relate to the highs that follow the hardest parts and always in such beautiful, wild places. I raise my glass. Good for you both, and Triggy, you rock!
Ah that was wonderful, what a wonderful and extraordinarily beautiful location and it being so hard to get to made it even more special. The views look incredible up there too, so pleased trigger made it too, he looked like he loved it.. great video and as always a huge like from us
Loved watching this!! Well done on finishing the hike 😄 An overnight hike is something that’s on our bucket list too. We highly recommend hiking in Alberta and BC, Canada. The mountains are beautiful 🏔 We’re looking forward to the next video! Take care. Hayley, Jake and Finnley 🐾
It was a first seeing Tania flustered but your positivity and enthusiasm, as usual, was what makes you stand out! We love watching your videos which have added new perspectives to our travel dreams, and new places to our bucket list. Waiting to explore Postitano through your lens!!
Absolutely gorgeous views! Wow experience of a lifetime! Great job for pushing through the rough bits 💪💪 And hats off to Trigger for making the climb too!
Can't believe the weather you had up there?! And no wind! But I think I'm going to live this experience through you guys. That hike looks like a leg burner, mine were aching just watching! 😅
Trigger is so cute! Also that hike was epic and absolutely beautiful! You guy's definitely inspire us to try more challenges. Love the video! Just top notch filmography!
Buongiorno love loved the hike Trigger such a furry free spirited doggie in times of I don’t think I can do it he is just ready to go😍😍👌The cabin just spectacular preparing the meal over a gas burner with the night view shared mulled wine Bellissimo 👌I’m just enjoying your vlogs so much a slice of heaven you both are 🌟👌Have a fabulous week see you next time Amore💖💖😍😍👌👌🌟🌟
What a stunning film!!! The combination of cinematography and commentary was just beautiful! And no wonder you are proud of yourselves- that was some achievement!
You guys have the best van life channel out there! I absolutely love the way videos are narrated; just so well done! Also, as an expat living in Europe, I get inspiration for hikes from you guys, thanks so much!! 🙏
Hello Mathieu! Thank you so much for your amazing message! It's comments like this that keep us motivated to put in the work on the videos! 😊 There were moments during the hike when I was questing my decision to pack all the camera kit 😂 But i'm glad I did! I hope you manage to do this hike one day, we can wholeheartedly recommend it! 🚐 Adam
I loved learning that you, Tania, grew up in a city so that going into nature and doing big hikes was extra special for you as well. I've never NOT lived in this city in this very house. I'm 35... I can't wait to be free after almost 17 months of NOT even leaving my childhood bedroom at all, only to let our pooch pee in the middle of the night.... Thanks for giving us hope 💚
So beautiful. Thanks for taking me places I’d never see otherwise. I’m like you Adam, heights give me vertigo. Even watching on tv I get sweaty palms! I admire your determination.
Sorry for giving you sweaty palms! 😂 when I look back at it I can’t believe I actually did it! It seems crazy!! 😬 thanks for taking the time to leave comments, it really does mean a lot, and it helps our films out immensely! 😌🚐 Adam
An absolutely epic film... congratulations guys on achieving your goal.... the pay off was indeed worth it. Cute... obviously no one could ever say Trigs isnt cute.
Wow and well done Tania & Adam that was some achievement you conquered. You guy’s really deliver such diverse and interesting vlogs. Great content, brilliant photography and topped with a beautiful & informative accent. I watch plenty of travel UA-cam vlogs and you guys along with your friends the Travel Beans, are my very favourite! Must be your down to earth & no BS qualities that appeal to this Aussie ✅👌
Late to the party, or making a fashionable entrance? Either way, I hope you didn't think I'd forgotten to comment! 😅 Absolutely LOVE these short films that give so much insight into both your travels, but also to the experiences that await the curious traveler. The subject matter is always inspiring, but made all the more so for the brilliant storytelling; with the perfect balance of face-to-camera inclusion, cinematic scenery that takes your breath away, and heartfelt narration to tie it all together, you really take us audience members on a remarkable adventure - almost as good as being there. Almost. xx
Absolutely loving your videos guys. What amazing views, you make it feel like we are there with you. Love how you are pushing your own boundaries to bring us this exceptional vlog! 👏 Much appreciated.
What a beautiful experience; well-done on the hike!! (Triggy is the CUTEST ❤!) My husband and I have done quite a few mountain hikes in California... including Mt. Whitney at 14,500 ft (highest mountain in contiguous US)... so in California, I would recommend the High Sierras. I also back-packed 72 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington State, and that was quite beautiful. One thing that I've noticed personally, is that the more memorable hikes are the ones at lower elevation: where there is wildlife and rivers, etc. The hikes that are all about high elevation views are more my husband's favourites. I'm more enchanted by trees, birds, plants, etc. The higher in elevation one goes, the less wildlife there is... but that's just me. :) Having said that, I would definitely do the hike you did to this little cabin: amazing! Incredible experience! Hugs! x (Love your podcast by the way!)
Absolutely beautifully filmed. An insane achievement to walk the hike and to film it too. I hope you're still feeling proud of yourselves for it today :) much love :)
Hiking mount Triglav in Slovenia wasamazing, eventhough it was cloudy at the top for us, it was cool to see the landscapes change and the hike wasa bit challenging with steep climbs and even some climbing, but sooo worth it!
An absolutely insane cabin, as a reward for a hard journey. A great video about real quality of life. The best places in the world on a small budget. Keep up the good work guys. The journey continues. Winter Greetings from Helsinki 🇫🇮 ❄
Amazing! Cheers to you. You didn’t give in. That was a great accomplishment reaching the top of the mountain! That was a little scary too but you know how to climb any terrain. You are inspiring. It was so interesting to find out about a little treasure high in the mountains. I can’t wait to see where else you go in Italy. I plan to go there in the future. Sending peace and happiness. 😊❤️
The best mountain hiking in the world is in the Pyrenees IMHO. Fabulous high-level ridges and many open huts tucked in the valleys. And you often get to share them with local shepherds and their dogs. And very quiet compared to the Alps.
Hey Alan!! Thanks again for watching and continuing to show up here in the comments. We love hearing from you! 🥰 We loved our time in the Pyrenees before and would love to return to do hiking and overnight stays in these huts you mentioned. ⛰️🥾🐾💕 xx Tania
Hi!! You guys should do the Tour Du Mont Blanc , I’ve done it 3 times and still keep going back! It’s 10 days, 100 miles through France , Switzerland and Italy , don’t need to be an expert mountaineer but the fitter you are the more enjoyable it is! 🏔
Certainly a nice spot once you arrived the forest and the mountains, being subtropical we don’t see the difference in the trees. The view was amazing 🤩. Take care cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hey Barry! Hope you’re doing great across the pond, thanks for tuning in & for your continued support here in the comments ❤ We’re delighted to be able to share scenery that is in stark contrast to what you’re used to! 😊 xx Tania
As usual a masterpiece of cinematography guys, you really make amazing films. Great job on the hike too, I would have quit midway lol 😂 thanks for sharing!
Hi E B, What a very kind message. Thank you so much. We're very proud of ourselves for making it. I don't think we realised how high we were climbing before we started! Probably a good thing though, otherwise we would have been way more nervous about the whole thing! 😂 Higher than Ben Nevis with a heavy backpack!! Crazy! 🚐 🏔 Adam
Oooo! Amazing hike! A recommendation for the future is the Kalalau Trail in Kauai! A massive challenge and so worth it. Cheers to your further adventures!🎉
Hi Jocelyn, ooooo, interesting recommendation! Thank you! We’ve yet to go to Hawaii, but it’s somewhere that often comes up whenever we talk about places we want to visit! 😊 ☀️ 🚐 Adam
You have some of my most stunning imagery on UA-cam 💙 this is a beautiful video guys and little triggy did so well too. Xxx such an inspiration to challenge yourself for the rewards such as this
It really did take us aback to experience such a well designed and well kept cabin, particularly for free!! And to think this wouldn’t be possible without the work of volunteers - it just makes me feel incredibly grateful! ❤ Thank you for continuing to watch, Angela! ✨xx Tania
Very nice guys. Great view and it looked like an epic hike. I trek out on mega hikes all of the time. That is one I would love to do. Jits into the sunset is a legendary channel.
Hi Roy, thanks so much! That's very kind of you 😊 I don't think our channel has ever been called legendary before 😂 Ooo, love that you do mega hikes, they are so rewarding aren't they! If you ever get the chance then we would definitely recommend this hike for sure! 🚐 ⛰ Adam
Bahahaha Trigger having no idea whats coming 😅 I wish I could fit in someone's backpack and be carried up mountains! He's got the life-hack DOWN! Such an incredible video, guys! It's so gorgeous and truly felt like we were along on the adventure with you! Gotta keep training to keep up with the 70yr olds. So much hard work makes that cabin even more special 💕 can't wait for the next episode!!!
Thanks so much, friends!! Always appreciate & feel your love 🥰 I’ve no doubt that one day the four of us will have a blast enjoying a hike together too ⛰️😜🥾 xx Tania
Oh you're SO BRAVE! We love watching your videos, you are all (all three ;-) ) so adventurous. What a lovely cabin and such wonderful scenery. Thank you so much for sharing. We always look forward to your updates 🥰 Big thumbs up! x
You had some lovely scenery there but it looked like it was a heck of a climb, it's a good thing Trigger isn't a big dog. I often listen to podcasts, so I'll be trying yours. Trigger looked like me being woken up early in the morning 😄
Hi Mark. It was very tough but very beautiful! Often the best hikes are the hardest. And like we said, it being so hard to reach made it that bit more special. Yay, we hope you enjoy the podcast!! 🎙 Yea, myself and Trigger are very similar in the morning. It's funny, you can really see a difference in him when he's not ready to get up 😴 😂 Adam
Annapurna base camp hike in Nepal and Morocco Atlas mountains hike is on my bucket list. This year I went to Grand Teton NP (US) and hiked to the Static peak. It was a long and hard climb but so worth because of the views.
Oops that was me from Australia Christina Newbie I enjoy learning seeing new places via utube adventure seekers like yourselves. I love to follow Luke of outdoor Boys.
Wow, wow, wow ! Incredible views and what a reward for your efforts on the hike, amazing ! I so enjoy your films when I get the chance to sit and watch in peace, especially your attitudes towards everything you encounter. Lots of love guys, keep it up ❤👏🏻👏🏻🥰
Amazing video, as always. Those views looked incredible. I'm sure you're well familiar with the PCT as an amazing hiking trail, but on the off chance you haven't heard of it I think you should check out portions of that for a future hike.
Just some cautionary backpacking guidance. Always test your gear before going out, especially things you've just purchased or have no experience using. Case in point, you were fortunate enough to have someone else with experience help you set up your stove the first time. Also remember, that has you climb higher, water takes longer to boil, so that means food takes longer to cook because the oxygen load gets less in the atmosphere as you go up. Your lungs work harder to acquire oxygen, so the fire takes longer to generate heat.
Hello, thank you! Yes, that's very good advice. I'm sure I'd have worked the stove out, but you're right we were lucky! We're not used to doing hikes of this scale so lots to learn! 😊 🚐 Adam
This is looking absolutely awesome... And exhausting. It took me a wile finding it in the www...I hope, I will be able to go there one day. Need to work on my condition first... 😬
Your Dolomites series inspired me to plan a day trip from Venice, but alas, November 22 brought a huge storm to the area, with 30 cm of snow around Cortina, so our trip got cancelled.
Hi 👋🏼 Found y’all from LEAW. The view was amazingly stunning and beautiful. Maybe if you come to the US you can hike Yosemite National Park 🏞️ The falls are breathtaking. Do admit though this is much more breathtaking but you would like Yosemite 👍🏼 California USA Me again 😊 was hoping for a link about the history and story behind this cabin and memorial of the woman who passed. 🙏
This looks so hard ! But definitely worth it. We hiked to seceda this summer and chose to hike up instead of taking the chair lift… needless to say, we took the chairlift down afterwards ahah ! I get what you mean by wanting to get fit to do hikes that demand a certain level of fitness. I want my body to be able to take me to these views !! So excitee to see the rest of your trip to italy
Hello Clémentine! Ohh, I bet Seceda was beautiful! 🤩.... good call on getting the chairlift. At least you walked up and went down on the chairlift not the other way around haha. Yes, we also want to look after ourselves so we can keep active and hiking as we get older. I believe it's possible if you eat well and stay active. 💪 🚐 Adam
Hey guys! You are amazing and every adventure of yours is really inspiring. I have a recommendation for a place to visit. It's the island of Samothrake in Greece. There is a difficult mountain trail there but apart from that, the island has rivers and through their length there are the so called "Vathres" which are little lakes along with little or bigger waterfalls. The nature is incredible there.
Hi Athina, Thanks so much, love to hear that you enjoy our adventures! 🙂 Ooo, I just looked at the island on Google images and it looks absolutely stunning! Thanks for the recommendation! I'll add it to the list ☀️ Adam
Well done guys, how long did it take to get up there? The ferry from Greece to Cyprus is open now, check out Troodos mountains trails and The Akamas nature reserve. Stunning. Xx
You both are epic guys! I stopped one of your podcast episode to watch your video, how crazy is that?? 🤣🤣 Oh, and I have a suggestion, but I will send you an email ❤️ because I also have subscribed to your new brand newsletter!!! 😏😏😏 Always a pleasure to hear from you both 😉
Good effort, what an awesome hike! When you guy's visit us in Tasmania we have an abundance of amazing short, day and overnight hikes, my favourites are Mount Anne, Mount Murchison and Hartz Mountain. But the Overland Track and 3 Capes are pretty speccy too! 🤣 at "Chickn" we say this all the time with mock Chicken!
Hi Krystal! 😊 thanks for your comment! They are from Selk Bags. We actually have a discount code: ‘SELK-JITS15’ . Your comment actually reminded us to put this in the description! So the link is there now if you want it 😊 🚐 Adam
I live near the trail on the southern side in Georgia, and hike parts of it on occasion. You should read A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson for a really funny take on what’s required to hike the whole 2000 miles.
How can you make sure to have a spot into the cabin before heading up the mountain ? Not able to find information about it. We’ll be travelling into the Dolomites by van next July. Thanks for your videos ! Lot of good stuff to learn :)
Wow, what an amazing film. Definitely will check that one out one day too :) Regarding hikes: In general, anything in Yosemite (Half Dome, Top of Nevada Falls), Banff (Lake Louise, Little and Big Beehive) and Jasper national park in the US and Canada. Also Huaraz in Peru has some beautiful hikes, like to laguna churup, to offer at an altitude of 3000+ meters Generally, Austria has of course a lot of cool hikes (such as the 6-Seen-Wanderung at Tauplitz, Alt-Thüringer Hütte,...) to offer too. Going up to the "Kleiner Sonnstein" and Traunstein in the Salzkammergut is always nice. You can hit me up, if you are in the area. My wife and I will more than gladly host you and show you around. Regards, Susi and Florian from Austria (currently hiking around in New Zealand during our 1 1/2 year journey around the world)
Hi, found you from Nicki and Carlo, stoked to watch and support. Feedback: the very first video I’m watching and you two are whining about everything- as if. It’s amazing, it’s a hike, it’s difficult. Own it, ROCK IT, and quit bitching, no one is impressed by whining (not that you need to try and keep up with what others think, of course!). Total suggestion: try Haleakala (without the 3 cabins) down Sliding Sands, across the caldera, and out the Kauai Gap (if you have good knees). You can winge (combination of whining and cringing) after. Great ohelo berries on the trail. And the views…. Unmatched. You do need a permit, consider Maui, and Hawaii - all the islands, humbly. E Komi mai!
Hi friends!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this film! We can’t wait to hear what you think of this adventure & if you think it was worth the exhausting hike to the hut! The Cabin was nice, but the most Beautiful things is the history behind it's bulid, priceless.
Loved this one. I met you (digitally) from your visit with Sara and Luca and Lucia. You all are so amazing. Wow!!!! 💃💃💃
Thank you for the love and dancing, Nuria! ❤ xx Tania
What an amazing spot. Fantastic portrayal of a superb facility well done guys, love it 👌👍x
Wow.
YAY!!!! Thank you, stunning work!
Yay! Thanks Janelle 😊 Glad you enjoyed it!! 🚐 Adam
Incredible! 😮
Thanks so much, Lili! 🌻 Glad you enjoyed it! 💛 xx Tania
Amazing! Definitely consider the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal - it was the best trip my husband and I have done.
Watching now!!! Supposed to be working!
😂 I only just saw this! I hope you didn’t get in trouble! 👀🫢 Adam
Michelle & Karl in Dundalk Louth. Love your adventures!
Thanks guys! It means a lot! 😊 Adam
Do admit though this is much more breathtaking but you would like Yosemite 👍🏼 California USA
Me again 😊 was hoping for a link about the history and story behind this cabin and memorial of the woman who passed.
Stunning. Xx
Those things scar the mountains. Take a tent!
Awesome job. What a fantastic view. Well done.
Thanks Edward! It was indeed beautiful! Makes filmmaking easy when we're in places like this!
You both are epic guys! I stopped one of your podcast episode to watch your video, how crazy is that?? 🤣🤣 Oh, and I have a suggestion, but I will send you an email ❤️ because I also have subscribed to your new brand newsletter!!! 😏😏😏 Always a pleasure to hear from you both 😉
What stamina! 😁 Has anyone mentioned the Tongariro Crossing in the north island of new zealand? World class hike
Oooo, no. But it sounds incredible. I'm sure New Zealand has some unbelievable hiking! Thanks for the recommendation! Adam
Please do Mt. Apo the highest peak in the Philippines 🧡
Wow... so beautiful. My wife and I LOVE to hike, but I'm very wary of narrow, rocky paths cut into sheer cliff faces. 😨 Yikes!
Yes so am I! If you’ve seen our last film you’ll know it scares me a lot 😱 but this one felt safe to me 😊 just a lot of hills 😂 🏔️ Adam
Come and visit us in Switzerland - we have tons of amazing hikes to show you and some pretty special places to stay!
We love Switzerland!! We've actually already been once and have a film about it. Still so much left to see there though! 😊 🚐 Adam
Woah that was INCREDIBLE 😮 the music you used in the cabin tour is one of my favs, we use it on our channel 😀
Job well done. Met you at Nicki Positano.
Wow! Great video guys!
And love seeing those older folks making the climb!
Thanks Wendy! 😊 And thanks for taking the time to comment! Adam
Hi guys..catching up with your latest vid..the cabin looked awesome but was there a toilet up there?
Living the dream through your vlogs, we hiked up through Austria, a few years back, this took me back. Love Trigger, what a fantastic life for him 🙂
Hi!! Where are your sleeping jumpers from? Love love love your films! 💕
Hi Krystal! 😊 thanks for your comment! They are from Selk Bags. We actually have a discount code: ‘SELK-JITS15’ . Your comment actually reminded us to put this in the description! So the link is there now if you want it 😊 🚐 Adam
Well done guys 👍🏾 but what was the toilet situation in that amazing hut?
Keren petualangannya, salam dari jakarta, kapan explore wisata di indonesia
What about hiking the Appalachian Trail in the eastern United States?
That’s a great suggestion, Kathleen! 🤩 I do wonder how long we would need to train beforehand, to be able to do this 😅 🥾⛰️ xx Tania
Definitely will check that one out one day too :)
Regarding hikes:
In general, anything in Yosemite (Half Dome, Top of Nevada Falls), Banff (Lake Louise, Little and Big Beehive) and Jasper national park in the US and Canada.
Also Huaraz in Peru has some beautiful hikes, like to laguna churup, to offer at an altitude of 3000+ meters
Generally, Austria has of course a lot of cool hikes (such as the 6-Seen-Wanderung at Tauplitz, Alt-Thüringer Hütte,...) to offer too. Going up to the "Kleiner Sonnstein" and Traunstein in the Salzkammergut is always nice. You can hit me up, if you are in the area. My wife and I will more than gladly host you and show you around.
Regards,
Susi and Florian from Austria (currently hiking around in New Zealand during our 1 1/2 year journey around the world)
Too much for me, but I do applaud your determination!
Thank you, thank you!! 💛 It was tough but soooo worth it! 🥰✨ xx Tania
@TAKE A HIKE EH!
Well done guys!as a mountain walkin'dude as i am i liked dk much this trip..dolomites and all the italian alps are sure amazing, ciao!
E Komi mai!
