"Former Weather Report and Steps Ahead alumni Peter Erskine is back with a new album titled Dr. Um. This time around it appears Erskine has been searching for and found his old vim and vigor of his glory fusion days.
Listening to Dr. Um a couple of things are clear; Erskine is an outstanding musician and he still has plenty of chops left in the tank. His band are no slouches either.
Melodic jazz fusion rarely sounds this good to these ears. If you clamor for the days of Erskine's former projects like Weather Report you best give Dr. Um a listen." Sea of Tranquility
