Peter has this unique quality that his playing make everybody sound great. It doe not matter if it is an acoustic trio , a whole big band or a drum duet. I miss the yellow Tama STAR kit though.

Hey Mr.Erskine! Just wanted to say how beautiful this song is! Especially because I met you the first time in Vienna at the Masterclass at the Music Conservatory (MUK) two years back! It‘s been such an honor hearing you talk about your concepts and the music you make! We shared some words about you doing the project with the Lubljana Radio Big Band, where my father was part of at the time! And you even handed me your sticks for me to play with! Thanks for being one of my biggest inspirations!

Thank you Peter Erskine! This is absolutely sublime. I have a technical question though: What size is the piano? It looks small-less than 6 feet! But it is voiced and recorded so beautifully. And when a master like Alan Pasqua plays it, it’s just gorgeous. Thank you again!

Thank you! That's a Yamaha C3 which measures just over 6 feet in length, I purchased it in 1994 and it's a beautiful instrument (especially in the hands of a pianist like Alan Pasqua).

That's Joe Zawinul's composition "Gibraltar," which was the final tune in the impromptu medley that Joe, Wayne, Jaco and I jammed on during my first "rehearsal" (audition) with the band ... ties-in nicely with the story ... thanks.
