This would have to be the best Ford Everest Ambiente review I have seen! Very thorough! Many car reviewers don't do reviews on the base model. If one is looking to head out away from bitumen roads, this vehicle is a no brainer. Subscribed and Liked. Great work! 🫡👍
@cliford302 Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The Ambiente comes with the BiTurbo engine which is actually 500nm, but still good enough for towing.
I just ordered mine because of your very informative detailed review Webby, thank you 😊. However I was advised by the dealership that I would get the 2024 model. I hope 🤞🏼 it won’t be too different from the 2023 model that you have reviewed, Sadly I am not too knowledgeable when it comes to cars. I rely on people like you Webby. Once again, thank you!
@ilukavishe8776 That's great to hear, I hope you enjoy your new car when it arrives. There aren't any differences between a 2023 and 2024 model so you'll be ok.
Hi Webby great article! I’m expecting my Ambiente 4WD with tow pack delivered tomorrow. What are your tips pls? ie running in period, towing, tech settings for Aussie roads etc. cheers! - John
@user-xv5cs6vn3h Hi John. Glad you enjoyed the video. Congratulations on your new car! With running in, try and vary your speed, and drive on different roads otherwise the engine becomes a bit one dimensional. It's suggested to do 1500-2000 kms before towing anything heavy to let the engine bed in a bit.
Hey mate, thanks for the wonderful video. A quick question please - i don't want to add 3rd row seats when ordering my Ambiente. Can I still add it in the future? Thanks
@Ravi Devre Thank you, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video. No, unfortunately the 3rd row of seats have to be installed when the car is being built.
Dang Webby, you do not disappoint! Great job. A few of questions if I may please... 1. No 360 cameras? 2. Does the dash give a graphic representation of the front & rear sensors wrt to object proximity? 3. Does the soud system do a decent job? 4. Are the 17 inch wheels a more comfterable ride than the others? 5. Is there noticeable body roll with the 17 inch wheels? 6. What is the wait time for delivery? Word on the street says 18 months!!
@kahuna1247 Thank you, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video. 360 cameras aren't available on the Ambiente. yes yes yes, as the sidewall of the tyres is higher no, it's very well controlled for such a big car If you ordered an Ambiente to your chosen spec, you'd wait around 4 months at the minute.
Awesome been waiting for this vid. Can you tell me if the ambiente has the same amount of sound proofing/deading as the higher model ? Have been told the ambiente sounds a little louder inside the cabin? Thanks
I had Ambiente and sold it after a week, I put it on carsales one hour after I got it home from the dealer! I thought it was terrible with road noise. (Unfortunately I didn't test drive before purchasing). It's like they forgot to put any sound insulation in the back of the car! All the Ford media releases talks about the new model being better than the last gen, I don't think that is the case at MOTORWAY speeds on concrete or coarse chip bitumen. Around town its pretty quiet and the 4 cylinder is vastly improved in regards to noise, it's so good now that you hardly hear it at all. One youtube car reviewer said that the new Ranger has more road noise than the previous gen, I think Everest is the same!
Question …. Would you recommend the Everest or the Double cab? I have the double cab but personally I feel I should move over to the Everest. Yes they both are different but I only chose the Double Cab because I am able to load lots of luggage. But it seems the Everest can take quite a bit as well
@basheermunga4322 It depends on what you're looking for. The Everest will give you more flexibility if you need to carry extra passengers or want a bit more comfort.
I just got my 5 seater ambiente and was wondering if you can turn off the auto stop/start permanently instead of selecting it each time you get in the car?
I’ve heard there’s a new trim for the Everest called the Everest Wildtrak. However, it’s unclear as to whether it’ll be launched in South Africa or Ozzyland. It is confirmed for New Zealand though.
@DaveDVideoMaker I’ve seen the photos of that, and also heard that it was confirmed for New Zealand. It’ll be interesting to see if it comes to Australia
Thanks - this is very helpful. How capable would the 2wd version be on dirt roads? Is the slippery mode you refer to some sort of limited slip rear diff (or rear diff lock)? We don't want to drive on sand, but we'd like to be able to tow our camper trailer on dirt roads into national parks - such as Oodnadatta Track and into Purnululu. Thanks
@Peter Young If you're looking to tow on dirt roads then I would go for the 4WD model, otherwise you might get stuck. It would be a good idea to add the optional offroad pack which is only available on the 4WD model too

@JackSunday7 Thanks for the great feedback. I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed my video. Thanks for subscribing too, much appreciated.
Such a great vehicle for a base model. 600 newton metres of torque is plenty for towing. The tow haul mode is awesome too.
Great video Webby!
@cliford302 Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The Ambiente comes with the BiTurbo engine which is actually 500nm, but still good enough for towing.
@Webby On Cars yep sure is .Our Territory SZ MkII has 440 Nm so no worries.
Very good,thanks,I ordered one today

Great reviews Paul.
@rochelleparker9575 Thank you, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Good one. You really need another person to hold your camera and zoom ins where required 😊
@nv Dhaliwal That would definitely make things easier.
@@WebbyOnCars 😊yup. please review new Palisade. Thanks

@@billybob1511 wow, that sounds bad!
I have the trend and it’s very quiet inside.
@mazdagine I don’t honestly know, although I know they don’t have the noise cancelling anymore
@billybon1511 I know ford deleted the noise cancelling system so maybe that makes a difference?
@BillyBob oh shit that's no good, what did you end up buying
Can you pls put up the video of the owners manual you said you were going to link.
@jillianrhodes7078 Do you mean the electronic owners manual in the SYNC4 system?
Great review, thank you. Is the access to the 3rd row only from the 2nd row passenger side? Can it be done from the 2nd row driver side ?

I just got my 5 seater ambiente and was wondering if you can turn off the auto stop/start permanently instead of selecting it each time you get in the car?
@vlkoster Unfortunately not. It has to turn on automatically every time you start the car due to emission regulations.

Do you know if the 5 seater still has the aircon in the roof for the third row? Wanting that for my dogs but don’t want the inclined floor. 6:22
It doesn’t have roof vents - only 7 seat versions
@@simonr23 I knew it was too good to be true 😂
@chrisjohns91 the air vents do swivel so it might be worth checking to see if they can provide enough air from the middle row to reach the back
@simonr23 I haven’t seen one with only 5 seats yet
Does the base model have usb near rear vision mirror
@user-lx8lu7hb6b Yes it does
Hey mate, does that big shifter come in both the rwd and 4x4 variants of the ambiente or does the 4x4 one come with the small electric shifter?
Nevermind just went back and rewatched haha
@frisky6340 All good, glad you found out the info you were after
