    Not having to put batteries in it would be a nice upgrade. I have a weather station from Acuweather, but it requires batteries, and they only die in the winter of course LOL. The Vevor model seems like it would be a nice upgrade....the one I have you can't access it with your phone or an app.

    I have had several weather stations. I had a La Crosse that had a solar panel that just didn't keep the battery charged. I currently have an Ambient brand that uses AA batteries. The current batteries have been in for over a year with no problem. It is hard to find a place to mount that will give you accurate wind speed, but everything else works great.

    I have shady wifi in the rural area where I live, so probably would not be good for people like me but I would love to have something like that

      the only part that needs wifi is the screen to share the weather info to weather underground. If you don’t care about sharing, no wifi is needed.
