Dublin City Centre, Ireland Driving Tour Dash Cam 4K UHD
Join me for a 4K drive around Dublin City Centre, Ireland on a Monday evening in late July. Dublin is a very old city and is brimming with beautiful architecture, history, people, famous pubs and winding medieval streets. Starting at the Grand Canal on the southside of the city we first head north along Clanbrassil Street, New Street South, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Patrick Street, Christ Church Cathedral, Winetavern Street, O'Donovan Rossa Bridge. We then turn onto Ormond Quay Upper and continue to the Ha'Penny Bridge, Bachelors Walk, O'Connell Street, The GPO, The Spire, Parnell Street, Parnell Square West, Granby Row, Dorset Street, North Circular Road, Portland Row, Seville Place, Sheriff Street, East Wall Road, North Wall Quay, Talbot Memorial Bridge, Moss Street, Townsend Street, Lombard Street, Westland Row, Merrion Square, Baggot Street, Waterloo Road, Appian Way, Ranelagh Village, Rathmines Village and Rathgar Road. The River Liffey.

I drive around Dublin every week day as a Delivery van driver. I remember when I was growing up as a youngster, Dublin was a very poor city with much poverty, and a lot of run down buildings and derelict buildings etc . And even before my time it was a hell of a lot worse. 70 to 80 years ago children were dying at a terrible rate from illnesses's like measles and whooping cough etc and children walked around in bare feet, in filthy dirty cloths, terribly skinny etc. They were living in slum tenements under slum landlords. The poverty was appalling in those days. The transformation in Dublin today is incredible. Dublin and Ireland is so much more wealthy nowadays. Dublin has turned into a beautiful city.

Awww thank you so much for this tour. I was born in La Paz, Bolivia in South America. Came to beautiful America one May 25, 1971 and been here ever since then (going to be 53 years come this May 25.) I am very thankful to this great Nation, now my home as well.
My daughter would like to take us, her dad and I, to Europe but he’s not interested at all! I would love to do that and may take her up on her offer. Thank you for taking us all on this very nice drive. I can now say that I know what Dublin looks like 😊.
Only funny thing is that I, sometime feel like I’m doing the driving, and that I am driving on the wrong side of the street. 🤭

From under the Christ Church arch and down to the end of Winetavern street where he stopped at the red lights, right at that very spot is where a great battle took place during the Irish Civil war. Cannon artillery fire was directed at the Four Courts building which you can see across the river Liffey on the left, the big grey bricked building, where a brigade of the I.R.A were held up taking cannon fire where they themselves were shooting back at Winetavern street. There was extensive damage to the Dome of the building. Damage to the four courts building can still be seen today with gunshot holes, marks etc along the walls of the building. Just thought I'd add a little bit of war history to the video.
