God I love your videos. I have been to Paris only once 20 years ago and I still can’t get over the beauty of the this city. There is no words to do it justice. I have been all over the world and see amazing places…but Paris is in a class of it’s own. I really hope to be able to see it again someday. Thank you for sharing these beautiful moments with us.
Nadine, I had to reply to you because we feel the same about Paris…I’ve been five or six times…the last time was in 2005…and I still get “homesick” for it!❤ Les Frenchies help me escape back to so many wonderful places and experiences!!! If I could I would be on a plane tomorrow!! But alas sadly, my companions from those trips have all passed away plus as I’m older the long hours of walking would probably kill me..but I could sit on a bench in the Tuileries Garden and watch the people go by…
@@Maimitti YES of course you are right, but no country in the world takes food as seriously as the French. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, it's the only gastronomy listed as (UNESCO World Heritage)

i just really enjoy watching the two of you doing your thing in Paris..., your classy, knowledgeable, cute, entertaining and just hands above other you tubers doing the French videos.
We had a bottle and board last night at Vino Sapiens and it was fantastic. We let them know it was you who recommend them. Bravo! Mary and Keith, SC, USA
I love that there are options for every budget. Like the idea of 17.45 where you can read about the cheese and build your own board. Thanks for the useful and entertaining content
You can’t go wrong with charcuterie planche. I bought the nesting charcuterie boards you sell before Christmas and use them often. Cul de Cochon offers delicious charcuterie as boards, sandwiches or a la carte. Last week I had a picnic at Place Anna Frank with my purchase from Cul de Cochon on Rue Rambuteau with a demi bottle of 2020 Saint Èmilion from the caviste Nichols. In Brittany now enjoying galettes and their wonderful cheeses. In 6 days I’ll be in Normandy doing much the same. Bientôt. Josef.
One of the many things I love about your videos (and I have watched almost all of them at this point) is how you rarely discuss calories and never promote diet culture. Those are videos about good food, and you embrace that fully, without bringing the unnecessary (and counterproductive) element of control and guilt.
You guys are killing me with yourvideos! They get better & better! Now that I'm retired in Miami Lakes with limited mobility! I miss the adventures! I've been a foodie for 60 years! First visited France in 1979! Well, after seeing the charcuterie boards I went down to Marky's gourmet Market, you know the guy with the caviar, and grabbed some delicacies for a humble charcuterie board!
Saturday is my favorite day and I always looks forward to a new video from you guys! I finished my Les Frenchies puzzle - I hope you’ll have more in the future!
We’re experiencing the fringe of a hurricane here in NYC but your vlog is like a ray of sunshine! Thank you so much, I’ve enjoyed it almost as much as you enjoyed that tiramisu 😊
A feast for the eyes! The last place with the explanations of the cheeses is really helpful. I think you've found your favorite tiramisu, next time order two! Thank you and Happy Saturday!!
This a tough job you do, how courageous you should be 😉 I would add that when asking for a wine, you'd better tell what will be your meal, as the expert is able to find a great matching wine!
Thank you for all your tips and beautiful video. We arrived yesterday and already enjoyed a beautiful dinner in a bistro and walked to the Eiffel at night and watch the lights twinkle 🤩 ❤beautiful.
I wish I knew about these fabulous places when I was there in April! Absolutely amazing looking charcuterie. Thank you! I really enjoy your videos. You are so sweet together. I always smile when I watch your videos. 😊❤
Great video as always. For Cavists, a good one will be able to suggest a bottle of wine that is tailored to a specific meal. So if you want to organize a big meal for friends and family but you are a little inexperienced when it comes to wine, go check out a cavist and tell him if you are going to cook fish/red meat/white meat or something else entirely and he will suggest the best wine for each course (if he is good).
Hummmm for a “great” experience never forget to let the wine rest when it has traveled. Especially wines that are a few years old, or even a few decades old.
As a French person I find it amusing that to North Americans, charcuterie boards are considered sophisticated, which is not the case at all in France - it's rustic, basic food (but still totally yummy, of course :)
I do not think they considered it sophisticated, just a nice, pleasing serving of the cold cuts. The idea of serving it on a wooden board looked interesting for the foreignors❤😊
As a North American, I don’t find it sophisticated per se, but I always appreciate a board at different eateries because of the variety and the easy snacking with my beverage. I am not sure sophisticated was the right word?
Faites enfin des essais avec des fromages auvergnats ( Bleu d'Auvergne, Aligot, Fourme d'Ambert, St-Nectaire, Cantal etc..) With wines of St-Pourçain you won't regret it.
Thierry! Great to see the owner of Vino Sapiens - he is such a great guy. If you need a good recommendation for restaurant he has never steered us wrong! (And you sat at “our” place - our names were the first ones at that table!)
You both enjoy your foods sooo much, reminds me of me and my hubby… we love to share flavors .. and our son is such a foodie and has been since birth!❤❤

So we are in Paris at the Palais Royale this afternoon and who do we see? Antoine and Colleen! It was a bit surreal to see them walk by so I had to approach them. They were very sweet and put up with our tourist questions. So nice to meet you both and thank you for your great channel!
