You really cover the tone capabilities of the amp. Your selection of playing really matches the adjustments you demo'd as you go along in the video as well! I was on the fence regarding the distortion, but you really prove that the amps distortion is quite usable - I am more than surprised about that. As for your playing... top notch with a wide variety of styles that I certainly cant touch - you definitely inspire! Great job with this 2 part demo.

I'm blown away by the sound. Not only JC's sound, as it is obviously legendary, but Les Paul's sound going thru it. I wouldn't suspect that Les Pauls could sound so pristine and bright. A nice change from always hearing Strats as default clean machines.
Liked the choice of Dream Theater riffs ;-)
This was one of the better demo videos posted on UA-cam of the JC40. Thank you for being thorough reviewing this amp, not just with settings but different guitars as well.

I had an old JC120 from the 80s, and I had a terrible hum noise, and it didn't have enough bass for me. I tried a JC40 at a store today. It shocked the hell out of me. No hum, very clean, loud, VERY loud.
