Snagged the white dial Timex expedition north mechanical for $99 brand new 2 days ago. That has got to be the best bang for buck watch I’ve ever bought. It’s great!
I bought this popular video watch from AMZWATCH , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $180! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
The $169 solar version of the Expedition North is fantastic. I've taken it around the world and it always performs great . . . so long as you are not a night owl and actually wear it in the sunlight. I recommend the entire Expedition series if you actually intend to wear a watch while hiking, running or just generically being active.
Its funny you ask, I'm working on a video as we speak about my grail watches. But the grail my wife is going to let me get is the Timex Gali S2. Are you familiar with it?
I followed the journey of a youtuber ("Stick the Eagle") who hiked all 2,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail with a Timex Expedition Scout. I would have sponsored him if I worked at Timex. No better showcase for a field watch than a 6 month walk through the woods.
I love Timex, but they got to do better at sponsoring content creators because you’re so right. That would’ve been a great way to showcase the toughness of their watches as well as support and cool mission.

Is it their best field watch? I think its a strong argument for it.
Honorable mention to the Timex Men's Easy Reader. It may not be needed now, but if you are lucky you will live long enough to need one someday.
You are right about that! My eyes are still strong but from my understanding that’s the perfect watch for when they start to wain 👴🏾
