Damn Scotty, you really need to stop stretching the truth! This video is partially true, they don't make that particular vehicle anymore, but that's one vehicle shut down not Ford as a whole!!!
My wife and I bought a 2014 Linlcon MKX with 43,000 miles on it in 2020 for $12,500, and we've not had any major issues with it (previous owners topped it off all the time and threw the EVAP code) and ot has the 3.7 DOHC Cyclone V6. It's been her best vehicle and we still have it.
@@mgreenmg4919mg Yeah. I have an mkS and my friend called it an mkZ. When I told him it's an mkS, he just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Lol.
I bought a 2001 Porsche that only had 59,000 miles on it. Got a couple of things squared away on it and it runs amazingly well. The engine is almost too powerful because it is a kick in the pants. I only paid 22k for it. I expect to easily get 180,000 miles out of it. I change the oil every 3k to 5k. Got a Ford Fusion with over 160,000 miles on it and it still runs great. Also we'll maintained.
CVT! 🥴🥴🥴🤮🤮🤮 Perhaps one of, if not THE, worst ideas in recent automotive years. (In close competition to GM/Ram Active Fuel Management systems) Been killing Subarus and Nissans ever since. Cars that used to be damn reliable. If i was shopping for a used car, I would turn and run as soon as the seller mentioned it. Turbos and fancy electronics are... "ok", and virtually impossible to avoid in anything beyond 2012.
Maybe the "little old man" who had to sell the car in this video due to his age might consider a "self-driving" vehicle. He's probably not going far from his home. I wonder which manufacturer has the best "self-driving" system?
I just did a live scan on my 2014 2.0 explorer eco-boost and running like a champ at 140,000 miles. I did put a turbo on about a year ago but besides that it’s been a good car I redid the AC system the compressor locked up that was a nightmare.
We used these (AWD) at the Limo company I work for. 350k miles was common. They held up better than I thought but for the money there's better choices. Personally I'd rather drive my 5-speed '07 Corolla.
I saw a Buick wagon on a transport the other day. I never would of paid attention, but (at least from the angle I had) it looked like some European sport wagon and had AWD. Later I looked it up and it wasn't... "bad". A wagon is very sensible for families (my brother has two boys who play hockey, if you are familiar with their "LUGGAGE" (bigger than the kids I've seen carrying them)! But also for Uber drivers, you never know the stuff you might be needed to haul. Anyway and granted it was a Buick, so there was that little quesion. I'd sure as hell buy the Lincoln or Buick before a "Stellantis". Dodge, Ram, Jeep isn't famous for quality either, but still sad to see an American brand (and jobs) soon for the history books, thanks to an even less competent foreign company.
I purchased 2 of them for my 2005 Mazda6 isport used for $38 & $60 each on Ebay last night now there's none available because it only works on 2003-2005 automatic transmission models & those were the only 2 listed.
MKT,MKK and MKS were all well made cars, We had the MKS as a replacement vehicle for almost a month, top luxury and drove like a dream. In fact, I seriously thought of buying one!
Fun Fact: The Ford Flex was planned to be called the Fairlaine, but Ford had not used the name in the USA for decades, it was currently in use in Australia. In the USA, Pep Boys Auto Parts had trademarked some of their tires "Fairlaine." In short, Pep Boys demanded a butt load of money, Ford said no thanks.
Nothing is made in USA these days. I've checked out their prices on cars and trucks. I'm just flabbergasted by the prices they ask for. I don't see how anybody can afford it. Better off buying a used vehicle than a new one
There was this woman at a place I worked at that 'retired' at least 3 times. After the 2nd time, we think she was doing it for the parties/cake we had for her 🤣
I've been to the GM dealership the past 2 weeks trying to get my Pontiac Vibe repaired & I can tell you Sales lot/room is empty the Service Dept is quite busy.

How the hell does the state get away with that charging more tax than what you paid for it. Kinda tyrannical don't ya think
Scotty, read the room
I just did a live scan on my 2014 2.0 explorer eco-boost and running like a champ at 140,000 miles. I did put a turbo on about a year ago but besides that it’s been a good car I redid the AC system the compressor locked up that was a nightmare.
It's really based on the Ford Flex, only less boxy
We used these (AWD) at the Limo company I work for. 350k miles was common. They held up better than I thought but for the money there's better choices. Personally I'd rather drive my 5-speed '07 Corolla.
At least in Indiana what you telling me about it for is the tax you pay
Why does he call this a crossover?
Nobody wants a Lincoln station wagon? I'm shocked.
Hi Scotty
The aviator is basically the replacement for this ❤❤❤
Welcome back! We knew you won't leave us.
I rolled the 🎲
Please listen to Beware by the Death Grips
People olshlulf worry about water pump?
Love the videos
Lincoln should have kept the Town Car and the 4.6 V8, a bullet proof engine
Beautiful vehicle!
Warning to older car buyers get a spare ECM I smell a parts conspiracy.
I purchased 2 of them for my 2005 Mazda6 isport used for $38 & $60 each on Ebay last night now there's none available because it only works on 2003-2005 automatic transmission models & those were the only 2 listed.
I would like one
Welcome back, scotty! We knew you won't let us go.
Lincoln is a quality car manufacturer in the past and in the future! Truly amazing styling and quality!
Who knew selling vehicles almost exclusively above 40 thousand dollars was a bad business model in a recession
We're not in a recession. What a weird thing to say.
@@Marty-j9e Are you joking?
MKT,MKK and MKS were all well made cars,
We had the MKS as a replacement vehicle for almost a month, top luxury and drove like a dream.
In fact, I seriously thought of buying one!
my sprit animal
Fun Fact: The Ford Flex was planned to be called the Fairlaine, but Ford had not used the name in the USA for decades, it was currently in use in Australia. In the USA, Pep Boys Auto Parts had trademarked some of their tires "Fairlaine." In short, Pep Boys demanded a butt load of money, Ford said no thanks.
SUV 1998 Continental. Same grill.
Nothing is made in USA these days. I've checked out their prices on cars and trucks. I'm just flabbergasted by the prices they ask for. I don't see how anybody can afford it. Better off buying a used vehicle than a new one
These modern vehicles have too much complexity! Prefer the KISS principle.
I never did like the way the back of the car looks weird
Looks like a Hearse 😅
There was this woman at a place I worked at that 'retired' at least 3 times. After the 2nd time, we think she was doing it for the parties/cake we had for her 🤣
That is one clean uber ride, that's the kind of interior il'd like to sit in lol.
Drama queen
😂
Must be winter there 😂
Ford sucks! I’ll never buy one again!
So ford is going out of business
Ok everyday ford gm ect is closing down 😂😂
I've been to the GM dealership the past 2 weeks trying to get my Pontiac Vibe repaired & I can tell you Sales lot/room is empty the Service Dept is quite busy.
