Really liked this videos format. Very informative and concise. I didn't get annoyed, not even once, which is rare for me! Keep up the good work man!
Sony naming hardware: WF-XYZ123-BJ3000
Sony naming software: "Headphones"
Great review. I love the format and the content. I watch the video at 2X speed, and everything was clear and concise. Thank you!
2X??

Maybe 1.75
good review very straight forward
Great video ty
hello.for rock and metal music listening and izolation noise from metro or bus transport wich is the nest this sony or oneplus z2?
In this video. What apps u use to hear music. I see that music apps such as advance becaue have 360 reality audio
Those controls are way to easy to press. I always press them accidentally when I adjust them in my ear. Is there any way to lock them when not own use, or even completely disable them?
This is a great review, many thanks, i am more inclined toward Sony xb 700 but post this review, thinking about going for c500, can you please drop your learned opinion, i want to use it for gym, workout and travel mostly. thank you in advance.
I have a xb700. I would say it is very bass heavy. Other frequencies are present but sometimes masked by the bass. I use third party softwares to balance the audio to bring up the highs. I would strongly suggest you to go for a more balanced model such as C500.
What difference(s) if any for its IOS app in usage ?
Good bro keep going
Does the app have like a locater in the event you lose this
I think they sound a bit thin but, fine for podcasts as they have such great clarity.
Customization.
Not customation. 👍
Good vid bro
How do you change the settings, you said you can but I don't think you can
They aight. They sound super clear and balanced and they are really comfortable, well built yet light. They don't have a lot of features like ANC but idc tbh. I just want the best audio quality for around this price and also I admit I'm a bit of a Sony fanboy
compare to soundcore life a1?
Thank you sr greit
How to setup Fast pair? Do i need to install google fast pair? I have sony wf c500 but it doesnt appear like on you vide. Please help. Thanks
So I just got my earbuds and took them out of the case and nothing popped up for about a good 3 minutes until it did, I have a Samsung phone which has a good partnership with google and I have my default assistant to google assistant, Other than that I personally did not change any other settings or install anything. I hope that helps, but you can always just pair it using regular Bluetooth settings and they should pair to your phone just as smoothly from then on
I've just watched a review video on same buds where the person says you cannot customise the button pressing and what it does on each bud but yours says you can do !?!?! Help lol
Hey I'm so sorry about the confusion, you actually cannot change the button functions, the app made it seem like I could and I glossed over it, so sorry once again but I hope this helps
I have these, i don't feel like these have a lot of bass at all even with the EQ tuning. What settings did you have in the app?
I have them on one of their preset EQ called Excited, what are your other thoughts on them?
@@PercentageTech I have these and the buds pro and to be honest with you for the same price the buds pro blow these out of the water. These sound muted compared to them and as far as features the buds win too.
does the app work offline?
Best👍
68.00 on Amazon as of May 5,2022
I love SONY ❤🎉
Do you by any chance experience hissing with these when using them on low volume or when there is no sound playing?
I would have not noticed it had I not seen your comment, when there is nothing playing, there is a brief hissing sound for about 3 seconds, then goes completely silent, I did however notice the hissing sound stayed while I played something with the volume really low, must be a corner cut by Sony since I tested my Galaxy Buds and the Beats Studio Buds and did not have that problem with either
@@PercentageTech Thanks for the answer man! I got mine yesterday and instantly noticed it. If I had known about this I wouldnt have bought it for sure..
@@webig1805 I'm sorry to hear that, I will make sure to include that to any future earphone and headphone review
@@PercentageTech That would surely give you an edge over the other review channels, none of them speak about that :)
@@webig1805 If it's a soft hissing sound that's just how allot of Bluetooth earbuds sound. It's amp noise that comes through the drivers. Higher end earbuds don't have this though.
It's easier than you think just tune in dude 😉
Best buds in this budget
Hi, I wanna ask you, If I equalize them on the sony app but I take the to the gym with my mp3 player, the sound quality changes again? Or keep the equalized sound by itself, thanks
according to sony's website, they should maintain the same setting since they are stored to the earbuds, but if it is deal breaker for you I would keep the receipt just in case
@@PercentageTech Thanks for replying, I got it. Good vid btw
@@matthewarz3413 thank you!!
Which sound better, wfc500 or regular wired apple earpods?
Depending on your use for earbud/ workout goes to sony, audiobooks and podcasts go to apple, but the bonus of having complete free range of motion without worrying about the cable is undeniable
tbh, wired earpods. These headphones lack a little base, apple always were pretty good with audio drivers and hardware. But , the sony are wireless, can be a hussle at times.
imagine going to work, and you realized you forgot your headphones. Frustrating, but oh well, you forgot them
wireless? you bring em at work, but the batteries are drained out and you don't have your charging cable for it. it is infuriating. you have your headphones, but at times you can't use them. JUST for that, wired headphones are still the go to today. Plus, those aren't wirelessly chargeable, so with some wireless earbuds you can wireless charge them with your phone if both can do that, but not with those sonys. Id rather forget my headphones at home than bringing them at work and realizing the battery is empty.
Apple airpods
Don’t bother buying these. They sound crap.
A great value today at $60.
Hello! This ones would be better than the 4i Huawei?
I have not yet tried those out yet but I will absolutely add them to my list and try to make a comparison
I tried both Sony WF-C500 and Huawei Freebuds 4i, Sound quality in Freebuds is crystal clear but Bass is low compared to SONY. I returned Huwawei as they were causing ear pain
Yes
I bought them.. im taking them back today .. I'm not very happy with them sound ok.. but the app is plain and the sound was ok ..not up to to sony standard
Sony wf c500 or jabra elite 75t? Which is better?
I've heard nothing but good things from Jabra and they're wireless earbuds, try to get the best bang for your buck and you probably can't go wrong with either
I was just choosing between the 2 and I went with the Sony main reason was the battery of 10 hours play time on the Sony vs 4 hour's on the jabra.
Jabra has noise cancelling, hear through and multi point connection. They sound decent and you can customize the sound via the Jabra app. Call quality is also very good. I actually like them more than the 85t due to size and fit. For me, the 75t are the best all around earbuds under $100. They are actually in sale now at many retailers for $80. Going to purchase the Sony ones to compare the two. I think the downside to Jabra is battery life and build quality. I work in harsh environments and have had to replace multiple Jabra earbuds but luckily, they were under warranty and we're replaced free of charge. Hope this helps!
Xm4 are the best. Wf c500 have a similar sound compared to jabra 75t and it is a very very bad sound... Xm4 are the best for the sound quality.
@@delamain1559 Yeah they sound better for 3 times more lol what a surprise
Which is better these or the galaxy buds 2?
As of today, 12/22/21, there is a $50 price difference between the two earbuds, if you have samsung and enjoy Active Noise Cancellation, then go with the Galaxy Buds. If you want the cheaper and just care about bass and don't care about the Noise cancellation, then go with the Sony
@@PercentageTech ok thank you
@@bradtate158 yeah, if you listen loud enough, you might not be able to hear much while listening. There's been times where my phone is ringing and I can't hear it with the Sony's. Budget-wise, Sony. Quality and ANC, Samsung.
I can't connect it to my laptop
These earbuds doesn't have bass that much like soundpeats sonic, xb 700 i am using it so i am telling even in bass boost mode , but clarity is top notch. On the other hand xb 700 nd sonic are amzing
I got the Sony xm4 I use it only to talk everybody is complaining it's very unclear I don't care about money which is the best for talk only?
That is a good question, I definitely will add that to the list of upcoming questions to answer!
for talking you need to buy something like jabra, consider mono headset
does it have a good bass?
Extremely good especially for the price but only after you adjust the settings in the Sony app
got it for 54 usd. Good deal?
Absolutely, I personally think you cant beat them especially at that price point
Only £64 UK on Amazon
if I increase the bass through the sony app, will the battery life be decreased?
From my own personal use, I found it to be about the same amount of battery life, maybe a few minutes from the total hours but not enough to even notice
Yup❤
how about bass this earbud?
Out of the box, its average, once you download the app and mess with the equalizer, I personally found it to be immersive
Yup ❤
customization
C500 o xb700?
C500, son mas nuevos con mejor sonido y mejor calidad
@@PercentageTech Mate, in case you have idea about the JBL 130nc. who do you think is the best ? 130nc has app wherein Music can be customised. Not sure abt sony
Xb 700 first impression sound is bloat and too muddy, after long session of use, it get more details and bass is not bloat to the mid. Compare to C500 that is brighter sound and bass is much less than xb700.
Im sorry but shaking earbuds till they fall out and if it doesnt pause if one ear is out, how is that a minus? Like nobody cares once they are charging and also if i have one ear out i want to continue listening to music if someone is talking to me...
I can definitely see where you're coming from, and its a completely valid point, In my experience I've always wanted to have complete focus whenever I take an earbud out and want to hear my surroundings but I can see how it could be beneficial if you don't want the music to stop
@@PercentageTech yeah like fair play if those are the only small issues though, i get what you mean but for me it wouldnt affect the product rating but thats just me really
Wasted my money buying these pair when I realized that my near 2 year old AUKEY TWS sounded much better...oh damn...The bass on the Sony is kinda stiff and I just don't like the soundstage at all no matter how much tweaking I do
I'm so sorry to hear that, is there anything my video could have focused on to help you make the right decision?
It's a 5.8mm driver with bass that's pushed forwards too much lol. These are low end earbuds with app support. That's all they are. They're being pushed by Sony's marketing team. That's the only reason why this stuff gets so much exposure.
@@PercentageTech you were too generic on your sound quality description, these are cheap , but sadly it all ends there...btw, just got the OG SENNHEISER CX for $99 and it is far and away better than the Sony
@@nethbt will definitely have to order those and have a head to head!!
It's so bad 🤬🧨🧨🤬🤬lie people
Nothing special about this earphones the sound is thin almost no bass. Look somewhere else for this price range.
