    Your video has been awhile, but the Saueraker shells are being revived. Your video was timely in helping me get this done, but I must say the procedure on your Blog site really made everything come together and make sense. Thanks again for taking your time to write this out and making the video for all to see.     Wow, that’s really interesting and a great explanation on how it works. I agree the figure in the first one is better. I wonder what they would look like with wood and colour swirled resin. Thanks for the video, great job.

    They both look great! One suggestion, instead of gluing up a board for turning, glue on a thin bit after, of contrasting wood, before the band/scroll saw work, and finish it as a unit. Hide the screw holes, and don't have to separate the screw plate later. I like the first one better, too. But, really they're both very nice.
