- #joyopedals #powersupply #guitarlooping - Here's my first look at the cool JOYO Power Supply 5, which will provide remote power for guitar pedals for my looping compositions. More to come with "in the field" examples of how it works!

...Sir,much-love from Southern Illinois!!!...Thank you for all your work!!!...Best "current-info" on this cool product!!!...Peace...
Many thanks Randy. That baby gets the job done. I have a nice totally mobile looping and busking setup now. No need to plug in. So much fun!
Thanks for your video. I'm thinking of getting this same power supply. I've looked at the cheaper ones, Donner Dp1 or 2 and Caline. They all seem to look the same and are probably made in the same factory in China. I only have one pedal which is a chorus. I've looked at the Joyo R14 reverb pedal. I absolutely love it. I'm thinking this Joyo5 will meet all my needs and give me room to grow as I add more pedals later.
How long could the battery last with a boss gt100, a boss sd1 and a friedman od be together?
Can this be used to power pedals, while it’s plugged into electricity?
I’ve had other pedal rechargeable sources, but when they ran out of power they couldn’t be used while charging without making a high pitched squealing sound from the electricity
Yes it can.
Is it fit pedaltrain nano pedal board?
Tony, can you please share an update on your thoughts on this Rechargeable Battery Guitar Effect Pedal Power? Thx
Hey Rodrich. It's still going strong. I leave it charging in my studio. It's been several months since I used it for a battery-powered performance. I let it run for about 1 hour and 40 minutes and it still seemed to have about a 75% charge. It's holding up well.
@@tonyleeglenn Thx, I can't find anywhere but do you expect it is fine to just leave it plugged in?
Hi Tony..
I just found you because I've been wanting a rechargeable power supply for my few pedals.. I hate dirty power. I'm a rock and metal guitarists, and I really appreciate this video sir.. I'll subscribe my friend..
What was the little joyo amp you talked about? What model?
Thanks brother!
Thanks for the nice comment. The amps I was using are JOYO DC15-S - But I have since bought Mackie Thump Go speakers and do my looping performances with those. They are excellent. The JOYO amps work great for low to medium volume, but the Mackies are good for about anywhere you might choose to play. Again - thanks. TLG
@@tonyleeglenn Hi Tony.. Thank you again sir.. I was asking because I'm retiring and wanted to do something fun to earn extra money and have been thinking about doing a solo act with blues and blues rock and this info is a great help.. Again, thank you kind sir.. I really appreciate it.. I'll check out more of your video's in the future. Do you have a video about the mackies? Thanks again.. Tim

Considering 2 of these or 2 529i’s to power a decent sized board 12 pedals and a couple of em are power hungry and they are a mix of both digital & analogue , my main concern is having enough juice to cover any and all of my gigs if anyone has experience with powering 10 or more pedals with these your feedback would be much appreciated 🙏
Its over a year, what do you think for this pedal? Are really good?
Yes - It's still performing great. I leave it plugged up most of the time, but when I unplug everything powers up just fine. I've run it for an hour off the battery, and all seems to be well. Thanks for asking.
@@tonyleeglenn thanks man, really help. will get this ps next week 😁
