Fantastic demo. You really put the pedal through its paces, give lots of usable information and setting ideas, there's no talking, just perfect. Really just down to the necessities and showing what the pedal is all about. Great, great stuff.
Fender Twin Reverb, Clean channel. Bogner Uberschall pedal as the dirty channel. EVH 5150 pedal as, Death in a box, third channel. I am more than satisfied! Both pedal replace all the distortion Boss pedals and the Tube screamer also!
I would just like to thank you for doing a great demo video. I hate it when people feel the need to talk for 20 mins and then play for 30 seconds. Im here to hear the gear. Thank you!
After viewing loads of videos, trying to find an awesome preamp distortion pedal (which this can be used as) I finally discovered this demo and went ahead, purchased one. I can safely say (imo) that the pedal sound in this video is true to form!!
I love your playing and I listened to this years ago when the vid first came out. I've always come back to listen to the music you played on here, its so awesome! Are these your riffs? I'm really interested in the one at 40 seconds in it sounds ethereal yet heavy!!!
You're yet to find a high gain pedal that sounds like a real amp? So was I! My quest got to an end when I tried a Blackstar HT Dual! Really amp like 'cause of the tube inside! Totally recommend it!
I could recommend blackstar you mention as well. It's a good one, too. I had the ht "metal" version. Their new one, LT series, is also great as well. This Uberschall though is a unique one itself and also well worth owning. Not better, not worse, just quite unique.
I can't seem to dial this pedal in or find a good use for it on my pedal board. I wish I loved this pedal but can't get into it. Running it through a Mesa Roadster, tried it on cleans and as a boost on leads. Almost has a weird harmonic to the gain, do you ever notice this?
+Alabama2830 i just saw this. sorry for the delay. i don't have any weird harmonic gain with mine....but i'm not using it with a roadster. what is it that the roadster isn't doing for your gain sound now?
This is a great distortion pedal but the build quality sucks, I just got the second one because the first one lasted only maximum of 20 playing even dough my great caring! This is incredible for a pedal with this price and from a boutique company ( well no longer boutique in my eyes ). A behringer pedal does better job in longevity and I came to know that this company doesn’t care at all about their customers but just the profit. They don’t reply emails and this pedal is unrepairable if anything goes wrong after the guarantee period because its components are embedded under epoxy. Anyone who will buy this should be prepared to buy another one because it is built as crappy as it gets!

I wonder what amp Greg is using? I use mine with an already crunchy amp.
His is very high gain. I can't get mine that distorted.
off-topic: what kind of strings do you use on your jazzmaster? just got one and I feel like I'm still figuring it out a bit.
+Taylor Venema daddario 11's for standard tuning!
