This is exactly how gear videos should be done. So many different style guitarists with different gear really gives you an idea of what the piece does. I kind of feel like I need one of the Red Ecstasy pedals.
I got the Urberschall. Very nice. Matches well with high end amps. You won't get the best of it if you have a cheap amp due to it's wide tonal range, particularly in the bass end.
i always believe a guy talking to me with glasses that have no glass in them. the only thing missing was the big red nose and the clown shoes. seriously, the only amazing thing about this video was the budget that went into making these atrocities sound semi bearable, dialing a dirt pedal into a high end boutique amp just about at breakup is NOT an amazing feat,a boss sd-1 can do the same thing exactly. total overpriced shit in a box. this will not get you sounding like you have a bogner ubershall or any of the other amps,PERIOD
trillriff-axegrinder dude, I dunno if I've ever come across a bigger hater than you. You haven't even tried out the pedals and you're already just spewing venom...at least have a story like, "uh, I plugged into one at Guitar Center but I couldn't get my guitar tuned right so I went back to a Vox Valvetronix so I could use the built in tuner and play some generic metal chug stuff like most of the tools that come into Guitar Center tend to do..." That story right there would've been better than the pure hate you threw out. Now, myself on the other hand, I've owned the pedal for the past 2 weeks and the thing is, as far as overdrive pedals go, is nothing short of amazing. Real amp like response and a killer boost to go with it. I'm usually an amp guy when it comes to my overdrive, but I'm throwing this on my pedal board as an option. And I've played with REAL amps and continue to...I've owned Marshall JCM 900 and 2000, 2 Mesa Single Rectifiers, and currently own an EVH 5150 III Stealth head, Mesa Triple Rectifier, 2 modified Randall RM100's with all modified modules and then there's my baby...a 79' Marshall JMP 50 watt with KT88's and modded by Mark Cameron. So yeah, I've played with high gain tone and ill tell ya now that the Bogner Ecstasy Red pedal is straight brilliant. Go ahead and try one, you'll be writing a retraction to that comment.
Just ordered my Uberschall can't wait to get it.
Really like all the Bogner pedals. Brings out the beast sounds and enhances your playing. Very vibrant.

Hah, I know I'm a year late, but that guy is Reinhold Bogner. Just for your information.
