yeah definitely passing this year. currently driving a 2017 mazda 3 hatch. i dont get why they wont redesign it. Apparently people arent sick of the same looking car for the past 8 years.
One thing I dont understand: the wheels on the 2022 & 2023, you called pizza wheels ( with the silver and 3D gloss black ) were very nice and classy. Mazda then went back to 2020/21 sliver style (sometimes black= Carbon) wheels. Anyway, those wheels are very nice and I think they would look great with the lower gloss black cladding . I wish they were a real option or Choice instead of the black wheels. The ones I mentioned would even go better with the silver hockey stick or aluminum roof rails
Decisions decisions. When will the 2026 be revealed ? I’m assuming the redesigned CX5 will be 2026 model. Want to see it before I trade in my 2017 for one just like this one. Any insight on reveal date of new CX5?
Very, very nice. Can you explain how you get Traffic Sign Recognition in this trim level? On the Mazda website it says that feature is only included in the Signature Trim. Thanks for the walk-around. 👍
We just got a 2024 CX-5 turbo premium in machine gray metallic a few days ago. It appears the differences between the 2025 and the 2024 are the 360 camera, exterior color choice, parking sensors and the roof rack? We had the dealer throw in the cargo net since I purchased one for the 2022 CX-9 we traded in and told them I would leave the cargo net inside for them since it wouldn't work for the CX-5.
“More features “ is one thing. But have there been any IMPROVEMENTS to persuade me to trade up from my ‘22 Signature model ? I haven’t noticed any yet.
there havent been any improvements in like 4 years. lol. I feel like mazda is squeezing every penny out of this car before they redesign. its been EIGHT YEARS.
@@mr.anderson2257 Tku!!! I also would like to see a 6cyl model in something like the CX-70 … but maybe one foot shorter. Sized similarly to the MDX & Telluride.
Why is there a silver skid plate on the front bumper but not in the rear bumper? 😅 .. did someone forget to add it at the factory? 😂 .. btw im still dizzy from the Intro 😢
I still cannot put a trigger. I'm torn between the Kia Sportage and the CX-5. Mazda is beautiful and reliable, but the interior and ergonomics feel too outdated despite its top quality. Kia felt much more comfortable having both elbow supports, more comfortable seats, and a much better center console. Tough choice. Enough milking it, Mazda, you're loosing customers, give us a redesign already!
I'm waiting for the next gen CX5 Hybrid.. You should too. If you buy these cars and keep past warranty.. don't buy Kia/Hyundai. You'll regret it long term.
@evgenyrivkin4908 I was debating between the CX-5 turbo trims & the Tucson Hybrid Limited or Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige, but the performance & looks alone have made me want to get the Mazda CX-5 Carbon Turbo
So there is a price increase and very little in the way of new features or design changes. I had been waiting to upgrade my 2019 CX5. I think I will be looking elsewhere. There are fresher options on the market with better bang for your buck. I thought for sure they would offer a hybrid model.
This Mazda has the same design for 7 years now and I was hoping for something new to look at. Instead we are getting the old look carried over to next year again with a few boring gimmicks glued to it and call it an 'upgrade'. I'll sell my 2018 CX-5 and get an Alfa Romeo Stelvio instead.
Not really, this is not a Kia/Hyundai. Mazda enthusiasts love our knob control. I almost never used the touch screen (2018 Mazda3) there's no need for a touch screen in my new one (CX-5 2025)
It's already a touchscreen for Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. You just have to use the rotary knob for the Mazda UI. But with wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, you can just stay in that UI most of the time

Nice looking suv! I have a 17 mazda 6 GT model currently and I just received an offer from the dealer where I bought it to trade it in for one of these. Decisions!!
This is my exact year, car, model , trim and color :) got it Saturday love it so much!!
I’m little bit dizzy after this intro 😂
Came here to say that 🤣
Ugh me too
Nice car! Only thing is my head is still rotating after watching this video
I love everything about it except the black wheels. Stay well and be prosperous brother Jonathan ❤
CX5 is due for a major redesign

@@MRP4U2BSame. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new Soul Red TP. It’s not going to look dated af in 5 years like so many others.
Hi can you please make a video about what extra features in cx 5 got added in 2025 model compared to 2024.
Thankfully you got this in before the hurricane.. gosh it’s important
Just got it and i love it. Has pretty much everything
I just bought a 2022

Most comfortable leather seats I’ve ever sat in
Very nice. But still love my 2024 CX-5 Preferred, fits my needs with a luxe feel.
Happy to wait for next gen. CX-5 Hybrid. Looking forward to any updates for 2026 model year that may come up.

Do you have any 2024 CX-5 Preferred models that do not have stop/start and cylinder deactivation?

awesome video in the rain, love it. we have a CX-50 in arctic white pearly (?), similar, a bit more white I guess, gorgeous color

You should do 2025 cx-5 carbon edition with red seats. I can’t wait for that.
I don’t have one coming in right now 😢

No more Blach interiors PERIOD!
So, in a nutshell, the 2025 TPP is basically my 2024 Signature minus the ambient footwell lighting?
