I don't follow Dante Bowe, but this made me look up his insta and see what's up. I came across a comment on the video showcasing the dancer's try-outs for his video (I don't recommend it), and one of the comments said "this is the route you decided to take?" Although that might've not been the most kindly worded comment, his response was very telling to me. He responded: "Yes! How can people believe when many have shut their doors to them? People can only walk through doors open to them. I choose to be a safe place for all people. Bless you brother."
Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” It seems a much better practice to call the lost towards the light, rather than mingle in the darkness with them until we gain their trust. Just some thoughts. Great video guys!

I always worry about when a worship leader becomes popular with the world, how easy it is to be conformed. I understand that there can be mixed feelings about Bethel, but that aside, I have to credit Kim Walker- Smith for really standing for the truth despite all the fame she's had. Good stuff on her social media!

I always think of Matthew 6:24 when those who claim to be Christians mix with the world. Our job is to influence the world not to be influenced by it. I really do pray though that we would ALL pray for God to refine our hearts and our motives and that they would align with his and bring him and his kingdom glory🤍🤍

Hearing someone say that exact same thing about Taylor Swift immediately made me think of the enemy twisting something God honouring and changing it to something else…hearing that just made my ears perk up.

I think this is a really good take guys. Definitely agree & would add it didn’t really seem like Dante was taking accountability for his actions & was wanting to play the blame game a bit. That I’m itself speaks to some pridefulness I think. Really thankful for how deeply you care about the phrasing of what you’re saying & pray that Dante comes across this & takes some time to dwell on the thoughts you shared & repent where necessary 🙏🏻
I absolutely see what you guys are saying and I agree to an extent. I wonder how you’d respond to the argument that these dancers and the outfits they are wearing are part of the culture of the Caribbean, where the video was filmed? Just curious :) in other cultures, the idea/expression of modest is different. Curious your thoughts on this! thanks for the video and opening up the convo!
I love that you bring this up. I had a similar thought. However...we cannot compromise man-made culture for Holy Spirit conviction. Just ask, if you were going to meet Jesus, how would you go dressed? God bless you!

My answer to that would be that we cannot compromise on God standards for the sake of man made culture. those outfit may be per the culture, but that doesn’t mean God approves.

Hey guys. I love what Morgan said especially when speaking the truth and calling things out when necessary, but also never goin too far in attempting to judge the heart. We all still have Downfalls in certain areas and some people go overboard with judgement.

Dante needs to change his management
Yeah, but he won’t because this manager approves of everything he’s doing. He didn’t like being told what he could, and couldn’t do while with Maverick city music. Anytime one of the members tried to talk to him about his inappropriate behavior, he said that he didn’t like being bullied and didn’t like being put in a box. With this manager, he can pretty much get away with anything because his manager is of the world.
Dante had a life before Mav and Bethel. He was with Eddie James Ministries. He can from a small county in NC.
Gonna’ miss that signature kiss. 😚

Any truth that people state someone will call it “hates” when they are not in faith. If he was a true Christian he’ll understand why people are constantly addressing his ungodly behaviors.

Never got into Dante's worship, something was always off for me... This doesn't surprise me.
So I’m not the only one? I had a horrible experience with his song voice of God and couldn’t finish it and another song I shut off the second he started singing. He has always been off. Everyone loves him so I just assumed it was just me being picky

@@tihigreen right. A couple friends of mine were uncomfortable with him too. This would’ve been in 2021 before any thing public with him happened. For me, he just gave me a very odd off feeling. At the time I was under the impression that there was something demonic and impure about him. Before all this current stuff, he released two other songs this year, hide me and demons. And hide me, you could see that he had lust in his eyes, and he was kind of making out with the microphone and with demons, it with that same very dark, demonic spirit, and there’s one person in the video where he’s Laying on the bed with his top button undone. There’s also like a shape shifting thing where a werewolf or something appears along with a full moon, and he’s singing about how Jesus is going to bring him home and how there will be a party and then sings that there are no more demons under his bed. So the wind me up music video isn’t even the first time he’s been unholy or blasphemous. Hide me a supposed to be based on psalm 91 which is what makes his behavior in the video even worse. So yeah, there is seriously something very wrong with him and there always has been. It’s just that now. It’s all out in the open, and he’s not hiding it anymore.

it says in the word that we will go through trials and tribulations, but when you put yourself out there like dante has of course you will get backlash, but to say you almost quite christianity because of marcus and the comments that lets me know that your walk with God is not solid, and the word also says in the last days they would be lovers of themselves and there would be a great fallen away. so many are being deceived right now which is very sad, i pray that the flesh he is dealing with and giving into will one day turn back to God for he truly has an amazing gift and this is not to say that other people don't struggle but musicians and worship singers get attacked so strongly. let's just pray for him and others like chandler moore
He’s living a sinful lifestyle and got dropped for posting videos of himself completely nude and showing his private parts. There’s a difference between unnecessary backlash and loving rebuke and correction. He’s putting himself out there in ways that are not God honoring.

If I had to guess what happened to Dante Bowe I would assume it’s Christians like these lol this public gossip is literally not biblical at all. Imagine there being UA-cam in Jesus’ time, do you think he’d be calling people out by name on videos for the world to see? This is insane
How do you feel about the Apostle Paul calling out people by name in his letters?

Persons dm'ed him in private, but that didn't stop him from he posting what he wanted to post publicly.
The fact remains that He is still someone worth praying for.
- Coming from someone who knows what it's like in different and even private ways to be hurt by this community. God knows.
There are times when there is flat-out church hurt with lack of biblical backing (e.g when it is not a biblical matter but a matter of someone's personal opinion), and on the flip side the church speaks to us to correct how we present/conduct ourselves us by speaking the truth that we read in the bible.
Reconsider: "Christians like these" because public or not, they are the ones who will tell you like it is(open rebuke), as opposed to talking about you in private (gossiping) or blocking & giving up on you without a second thought.
Also, it is important to note that even Paul's opening letter done out of "love and encouragement" in 1 Cor 3, can sound harsh to any sensitive person.
"Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly-mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready"
Although jealousy and quarreling seems like a little sin in today's church society, Paul still addressed it.
Celebrity or not, we all have to ask God restore us all in any way that we have not been fully surrendered to His Will for our lives.
Now this next part is just imo:
Instead of the vid-Once I dm'ed and spoke to him in private, I would probably actively pursue a face to face Godly routine w/him.
He said he was comfortable with them sharing it with us so, the gossip accusation to P&M is pretty much dead.
Yh sometimes I think things can be handled differently. But hey! How many times has someone discussed something you never gave them permission to discuss? Yh...
Glad they gave him that decision.
Now I'm not bout to throw a fit on here about his R and B music lol because a lot of us need to be more honest with ourselves and the music we love from time to time.
The elephant in the room is the way in which the song was presented from someone who is mixing their faith with this type of video.
I know we don't wanna hear it but truth is, at the end of the day, whatever musical pursuit Dante has, is up to him. He built a Christian audience. His heart's desire has changed and given the opportunity now, he is showing us what he's always wanted to do with his career.
Our job remains the same: that we pray for him, especially against any evil/deceptive people who may seek to take advantage of him in the industry.
He is not the only Young Christian Believer who sings/wins awards, that on this path.
Love my Brother Dante♥️🙏🏾However, I pray that God's will will prevail as the final say, in His life and that Joy will fill his soul.
No decision that he, or any other person does will cause me to turn my back from praying for them.
