I really like Dante’s music even without Maverick. I’m praying he focuses on God and not too much trying to please the world. He’s gifted and I know being in that industry is a struggle.
I’ve listened to Dante for a couple of years now. I’ve watched every video of his. This one is different. Something is off. The enemy of Dante’s soul wants his mind. I’m praying for him. I hear the ache in his voice. He is anointed and a child of God. I trust that Father God is hiding him.. Steadily calling him. Amen.

Bro is doing one eye symbol in the song, the song has no Godly anointing and sounds extremely secular.
Sometime I think people forget that just because you are in the public eye doesn't mean that you are going to be perfect. I say we all fall short but we get to keep hiding ours and his is on display. I pray Christian don't run those off who are fighting the good fight just not the way we think it should be fought. Keep Praying For each other. As long as he ducks accountability, there will be no change. Speaking about enemies as though it’s Satan that made his choices is a sign of no repentance. When we as believers truly feel remorseful about our terrible decisions, we don’t act like it’s our enemies that put us in that predicament. Praying he seeks TRUE repentance that we all as believers need.
To be fair, I listened to your commentary and then ran 🏃🏽♀️ to watch the video. I almost immediately picked up on the 1 eye 👁 symbolism with his face being shaded out over and over. The beat was hypnotic, even his movements were sensual in nature. It felt very secular, like I was listening to a hip-hop record😒😕

I say this in love sister, be careful with these statements with "one eye symbolism" etc. Alot of this are just conspiracies that are not true. I reccomend watching KBs podcast(southside rabbi) on the topic of conspiracy theories. Many of them are falsehoods that ruin christians credibility and testimony because many conspiracies theories are "here say". And please consider that Dante is a creative, how things are lit in a room for the purpose of music/art is just a creative thing. Im a photographer/videographer and I work alot with lighting, and shades. Its simply aesthetics. And please understand that the sound for this song is more of a latin/carribean style. This sound and movement/dance is very common within our culture. We are a dancing culture. Like I said, just want to say this in love.

We need these christian artists to stay true to God. If we as christians are going to buy their music to support what they do, then they music must be about true worship before the LORD and not even thinking about trying to crossover into a secular audience; because we must remember it's the Holy Spirit that draws a heart to receive God's gift of salvation. God's word doesn't come back void, therefore it must be about singer and speaking His word. Beautiful singing is one thing, there's plenty of that with this worldly singers, but these christian artist are messengers of the MOST HIGH, and His not concern with his children who may be singers crossing over to please the world and to have great wealth and fame. It's about ministry and not entertainment; it's about heaven or hell, it's about spending eternal life with Him or being separated for Him for all eternity. God does answer prays, but many times He may say no. See it's about us (His creation) falling down in worshipping Him (our creator). I wasn't trying to harsh, but I've seen so much of this current worship and it's just so close to worldliness. Just saying.

I am going to be very honest in my review of his new song. I was curious of what he put out and had a listen. I do not like it sorry. I just don't feel God or his spirit in this. All I heard was a catchy beat and saw him dancing around and touching the microphone in a weird way lol. I know he said this song was written in a storm but It just don't sound like it. When I think about songs written in storms i think about Amazing Grace or I won't complain. Where is the real Lord I need you my savior emotion. Sorry I just don't feel it or see it. It's just about making money.

I completely agree. In his earlier music, you could feel the anointing in it and you felt true worship from it. In this new song, I just felt discernment and this weird awkward feeling. I can't even explain it. You know you listen to an artist and to see the change it does hurt your heart. I am praying for him though because the fame and fortune is not worth losing your relationship with God over.

And for sure I pray Holy Spirit can get his heart to turn on narrow road because nothing worth loosing our relationship with Our Creator, only devil can influence that (which Bible warns us many will be on wide road that leads to destruction) but we must continously submit to God resist the devil and he must flee, and by the power of Holy Spirit walk on narrow path everyday, because God knew when He told us, Jesus is the way to Father and its the narrow path that leads to life.

Okay, so it's not just me... praying for him. Sometimes, when they get a taste of fame, they switch over, and it's subtle.

Honestly when Dante was separated from Mav after the incident, I honestly saw it as God setting him aside for a purpose. Like you know Mav is heading down the wrong path, but God was sparing Dante from going that way as well. The song was catchy but like we're more so seeing in the gospel industry, the music is sounding like the world. Catchy beats, good lyrics, but lacking God. I just pray for him, Mav, and everyone in the industry, that despite fame they return back to the first love, Christ. ❤️

Dantes story is just like any other worldy celebrity story. They get singled out and come out wit a Solo album and a banger and now they are on top of the world as “a conqueror “

The situation he came out of was a result of his sin and not of God hiding his value . @@teachingtidbitsbytakenya6373 thank you , I sure did miss . I just don’t take Bible verses and run with them . If I see someone quoting a verse I let the words and actions match up . The symbolism is just too confusing here for me . Also resting in gods shadow in proverbs 91 is a reference to his protection in my belief , because most other passages refer to God as light no shadow/darkness (Habakkuk 3:4. Matthew 28:3 and plenty more revelations 18:1. Heavenly beings shine . )And realistically light has no shadow. So thats where that verse is talking about a metaphorical shadow . There are plenty of other verses that show that Jesus, God the father and even angels have their own radiance of light because that’s what God truly is . This is why I’m careful when people use verse in their songs because they could really be covering up something . And in this one it’s that right eye for me and the black and white duality🤷🏽♀️when ever I see the demonic symbolism and they slapped Gods word in it , what I’ve seen at least with these celebrities a lot of the time, it usually means another God they talking about . I could be wrong but My spirit didn’t feel right, discernment had kicked all the way in .

Because this is being used metaphorically. But my main point is , this music video and the symbolism in it . If you want to be blind to it then go head be . With everything they deal with and the status they have temptation doesn’t hit us like how it may hit them . They probably get hit with greater temptations . The reason is because if we just look at scripture and not at the persons actions to confirm , we will deceive ourselves and also enable the person if they just do happen to be in the wrong . I feel the song and video are too seductive and secular-focused. I love the lyrics but the beats don't give me a worship vibe. It brings back worldly inappropriate lower body movements to mind. I don't need that in my spirit.

Firstly, he must acknowledge and go away and address his previous short-comings, of liking Lil Nas etc etc before he tries to sell us his new music. He needs to seek forgiveness from God and go and study the scriptures before he wants to entice with a new album.
And he tracks asks "someone" (he doesn't call him by name) to hide him under his wings from his enemies who won't survive. Is this dude for real? We are the ones who should be hidding from his luke warm gospel music.
This songs reminds me of songs by Lauren Daigle which sound good but never mention the name Jesus Christ, so can be used and applied to any idol you decide to worship.
If I put the music video on mute, I would think this was a secular love song. I'm not feeling it.
My concern is, that Tye Tribbet stated they have contracts where they can’t say Jesus name in their song in the industry, being 1 of the reasons why he’s not interested in the mainstream industry. A lot of mainstream “worship songs” today, are not saying Jesus name in their songs. That’s all I’m saying.
I didn't even know he had gotten kicked out of Maverick City. I remember seeing him in a video with the lady singer in a car being interviewed. She was talking about how things come across. I guess he didn't listen. I've been guilty of that. I hope he getting kicked out of Maverick is a wake up call. I hope they did everything they could in love to open his eyes. Unfortunately, Dante isn't the first nor will be the last Christian artist like this. I don't think massive people will fall off just because Dante fell off. I'm not sure people saw him as a highly spiritual guy....maybe they did. I sure didn't.
That was probably Naomi Raine another member of the group. She has a car chat series on her channel and has had him on. I think that happened before he got kicked out. As someone who followed him for a short time, I can tell you that he sees any form of criticism as an attack. Before being kicked out of the group, he was often called out for things that he said, and did, but never took it seriously. He just cried that he was being bullied. So most likely they couldn’t get through to him, and just had to kick him out. The car chat happened back in June 2022 and he got kicked out in October.

Last year, a festival he was supposed to appear at close statement on their Facebook saying that he would not be making an appearance in that his team informed the people behind the festival that dog capo will not be doing any public events until further notice. This video shouldn’t even exist. He is also leading worship at a friend new church here in Dallas. And, he will be appearing at a Christian event In February with several other Christians artists and bands. That’s why his solo headlining tour for this year was canceled. But here he is starting a new label, appearing on good morning America, appearing at other Christian events, and preparing to release a cross genre album. Also, he’s essentially promoting weed. If you watch the video, one of the guys is wearing a. Cookies jacket. It’s a brand of weed that is rising to become the most popular brand of weed in America. When he was kicked out of Maverick city music, he posted a song from bad bunny to his Instagram story where the lyrics translate to God has already forgiven me, so why haven’t you. Even in that episode with Naomi Raine, he said he doesn’t want to be locked into one position. He sadly is in this for the money, and only cares about himself.
In all honesty we’re getting into a deeper season of deception and destruction of the soul and in all honesty we may not see it but a vast majority of Christian’s think it’s completely ok to compromise and live a life without pursuing holiness and denying self

The enemy is a deceiver. As Christians we need to remember that we live in this world ONLY but not of this world. We must stay separate from things that can heavily influence us. What I see happening is that society is calling evil good and good evil.
When you come from nothing to receiving everything you have been praying for. The reality is, we still have humanistic traits to deal with. We all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. It is important to deal with you short comings in private before it becomes public. And it appears to me that his struggles are becoming public. So he needs our prayers to navigate through this tough world. Just keep him lifted And encouraged to strive for more of God and less of self because we don’t know the experiences he has faced in his personal life .
Brothers and Sisters use your discrement in these last days let's see if Dante really is change by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name by their fruit we will see.

In his “hide me” song look at the way he dances, respectfully without disrespect, he dances like a GTA stripper🫢 The Lord called us to be the salt of the earth, meaning we have flavor and flavor isn’t HIDDEN 💯 it’s known 💯 but he is reminding me of the people/circle he hangs around when i listen to his music
IDK man. I think, even if Dante sat down for a while and focused on God, it would be a couple years before Mav City considers bringing him back in. Something about his music as opposed to their music is very unsettling for me. I say that not being the biggest Mav City fan as it is. It concerns me when Christian leaders of all types go through a scandal like this, and then show back up to their post like nothing happened. There has to be some demonstrated change, or it's not going to be good for the Kingdom for him to continue. Kanye West can make a Christian album in his sleep, but that doesn't necessariy mean he's living for God.

I believe, Dante is gifted and God loves all his children and corrects us through any means possible even open rebuke If it gets to that! We shouldn't misunderstand that as a trial but quickly own up, take to corrections, and strive to be led by God's spirit in all seasons knowing such a crowd that looks up to us.
Some battles we face require us to go back to the basics of God's manual for us and see set human or team STANDARDS as guides to stay in safety zones with loved ones here on earth.
I strongly believe Dante can be all God wants him to be under Maverick city. It's a team set in heaven for him to thrive and mature in the things of Christ very quickly to be independent cos it's not about the success we make in our careers but the success in our relationship with Christ is all that matters the most. It’s so sad I’ve see this happen time and time again that’s why I’d rather just stay humble and be a nobody in man’s eye and live a godly simple life. Cuz once the human being gets famous and we’ll known naturally you start changing and that’s biggest test.
