I grow these in toronto and they reached twelve feet six inches and four incch diameter trunks. Keep that in mind for planting in your area. Their size is related to climate. Gerry

Hi. I'm growing one indoors by a South facing window next to a grow light. It's gotten quite large and is now growing the seed pods. Have you heard of these plants being successfully grown as an indoor plant? Also, it seems as most of my larger foliage plants prefer distilled water. Should i give that to my Castor bean plant as well? Thanks for any info.

I have always heard that the seeds are highly poisonous. You don't have to wear gloves when handling them?
The caster beans are only poisonous if consumed, handling them is not a concern. It is always a safe practice to wash hands well after handling anything, but it will not make you ill. 🦎🌴🌱🌿🌸☀️

Most greenhouses will carry this plant, they make beautiful centrepieces for planters 🌱🌿🪴🌴☀️

what if thousands of those seeds to plant, how can one nurture them before transplanting
We stored them dry in the winter and then u can put in damp paper towel. Google damp paper towel sowing seed method :)
You didn’t have to scarify the seed?
No scarifying required for these seeds, just plant and grow 😊
