Moon is cool. Best showcase of use of bumps and displacements.
I would also map is using object coordinates, then change the texture to use sphere - see: Blender Secrets - How to solve pole pinching on a UV sphere. (another side note, change 'linear', to 'smart' to avoid pixelization when viewing the model close up)
Best moon tutorial.
Truly cool stuff. Now I have my own Moon! Yaaaay!
5:49 i think you said geometry dash by mistake in trying to describe this thing. appreciate your effort work man

Thanks mate! Liked.
SO COOL SO COOL SO COOL! THANK YOU!
How do you prevent the UVs at the top from being stretched with the subdivision modifier?
Dope as always. 🥵
Nice tutorial. One question, when I render my moon, the image loses most of the detail and just looks like a shaded sphere rather than the detailed moon. Anyone else have this issue? How did you resolve it?
awesome
wow, good idea ,Actually, this is an artificial moon😏😏😏
how do you move the camera closer?
MY BLENDER CRASED
How do you bake the texture to keep it saved on the object?
No need for baking the texture stays always on objects.
