Almirante Base Brown, Antarctica, January 2023, Continental Landing, on Viking Octantis

We woke up in Antarctica, to a beautiful snow shower. This was the day. It started with a hearty breakfast, and a weather balloon launch. We rode a zodiac to our landing. Base Brown, Antarctica, a continental landing. My fourth continent. I did not save it for last! ;) We also had a whale watching experience on a Special Operations boat, and finished the day by enjoying steak and lobster with some delicious deserts. We'd dreamt of this moment for over a decade, and we still pinch ourselves that we finally achieved our goal.
