Have a couple of days to spend in Barcelona? Our favorite sites were the Gothic Quarter, La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Barcelona History Museum, and Güell Palace. We bought tickets for Park Güell, but couldn't find a parking space. Take the train! This is a tour of the expedition ship Viking Octantis. Polaris is the sister ship, and is show a couple of times during the video. We met the sister ship Polaris while on this fantastic expedition. We took a trip to Antarctica in January 2023, on one of Viking's expedition ships, the Octantis. One of the stops was in Hidden Bay. We rode the Special Operations Boat on the Octantis, viewed a whale in the distance, saw a huge leopard seal sunning himself on an iceberg. We took a trip to Antarctica in January 2023, on one of Viking's expedition ships, the Octantis. One of the stops was at Enterprise Island. There was a whaling vessel here that caught fire in 1915. This past fall, we traveled to the Greek islands. They are incredibly beautiful. We only had one day on each island to explore. It's hard to pick a favorite, so I won't. We didn't have as much time in Corfu, due to taking a bus tour, so keep that in mind if you book an excursion. There were LOTS of cats in Mykonos. Kusadasi is on the Asian side of Türkiye, located on the Aegean coast. A busy little town, located just minutes from the countryside. We took a cruise, and this was one of our ports. On a trip to Istanbul, we made our way to the Grand Bazaar, on the European side of Istanbul. This large mosque was completed in the 1700's. Located in the Çemberlitas neighborhood.
