@@8mynts Maybe you have no idea. having zooms, shakes, lights, booms, transitions, and everything else takes seconds to minutes to add each. But if you’re trying to manually sync the effect to the beat of the music or to what’s happening on the video then sure, it can take time but not hours for video that is tens of seconds long.
i just spent 2 weeks on 7 second clip just because i have to render to preview what i just done and crash the whole computer just by moving through timeline, i wasted more than a month editing the whole 1 minute and 5 second showreel just because i don't know what i want to do.

Getting Burn Out is clearly something everyone exoeriences nowadays. Great Advice Fin!! I also tried using the Pomodoro Technique which is quite shorter than the 45 min breaks you've mentioned (25 mins).
I'm trying Pomodoro right now, it almost seems weird to only work for 25 minutes at a time. If I get on a roll, I want to keep going. But on the other hand, structured breaks seem to keep the mind fresh, especially if you get up and do something physical each time.

I needed this since I have undiagnosed ocd, I tend to become a perfectionist in editing let alone spending 30min to 1 hour marking the beats of a music to make sure it is perfect and spending 15-30 mins going frame by frame cutting the clip to make sure I get it in the perfect moment not to mention couldn’t use a setting/preset with a setting that isn’t divisible by 2 for some reason 💀

I think what really takes the longest when editing is when your raw footage is incredibly long (about 45-60 minutes). That's what takes our lifespan away in editing and lose our minds in the process

8:34 is so key! I also edit for about 30 or 45 minutes at a time, then I take a break to take my mind off UA-cam editing, then come back later after about 10 or 15 minutes and I feel fresh and good! Good advice!
After binge watching you're videos, I purchased the Ultimate Bundle Plus as I am ready to take my editing to the next level. Thank you for creating all these pre sets I know I will be a better video editor after this. I have a suggestion for a future video, create an ultimate course showing examples of how and when you would use every single pre set in every single bundle and put it all into ONE video. I know it will take for ever, and the video will be hours long, but THATS OK we will watch lol, just go bundle by bundle, pre set after pre set and put time stamps so we can navigate to the necessary instructions. It will certainly bring you a lot of views and eventually even more purchases of those bundles as a whole, I know for a fact I would have bought you're bundle even faster if something like that was on you're main channel. You're consumers win, and your wallet will win too.

8:34 is so key! I also edit for about 30 or 45 minutes at a time, then I take a break to take my mind off UA-cam editing, then come back later after about 10 or 15 minutes and I feel fresh and good! Good advice!
After binge watching you're videos, I purchased the Ultimate Bundle Plus as I am ready to take my editing to the next level. Thank you for creating all these pre sets I know I will be a better video editor after this. I have a suggestion for a future video, create an ultimate course showing examples of how and when you would use every single pre set in every single bundle and put it all into ONE video. I know it will take for ever, and the video will be hours long, but THATS OK we will watch lol, just go bundle by bundle, pre set after pre set and put time stamps so we can navigate to the necessary instructions. It will certainly bring you a lot of views and eventually even more purchases of those bundles as a whole, I know for a fact I would have bought you're bundle even faster if something like that was on you're main channel. You're consumers win, and your wallet will win too.
