- I have a friend in the Navy who loves to play cribbage in his down time so I decided to make him a custom cribbage board with storage for the playing cards and playing pins, AND that can close up.

I really like how the finish came out on this. Odie's Oil is still my favorite finish.
I like it. Maybe if you built a 2nd one you could laminate the magnets in between the wood layers and make them hidden.

Awesome project. Never played Cribbage myself, but we always had a board growing up. I think its great how you incorporate laser engraving and woodworking projects together! Thanks for the great video!
Thanks! Wasn't sure how many people would like the laser engraver since not everyone has one, so I try to incorporate it as an optional add on.
@@boydstongrove I think you are right on track, more and more people are buying lasers. I just recently bought an Xtool D1 Pro 10w. Lots to learn, but I am having a great time.

Brother.! This is a fantastic project.. Just so you know, if didn't already, 'Brad-Point' drill bits are designed to prevent tear out around the entry of your small holes that conventional drill bits are infamous for. I should know.😕They do work much a Forstener drill bit. I like your magnet trick. Man that's a 'thing of beauty' right there. Genius idea. 🤠🤓😎
