Thank you so much for continuing these vids! I start my next term in February and have already started knocking out my compliance things. I am almost finished with nutrition and still have patho, pharmacology & foundations left to take. I pray I can be done by then to start clinicals in February. These vids are really helpful, you just don’t understand! Congratulations for being accepted into clinicals!! 🎉🎉🎉
I just applied to WGU this week then came onto UA-cam to find some info about the school. You’re videos have been very informative! Keep it up and good luck on your nursing journey ! 😊
Hello there, could you tell what the clinicals sites requirements are? I have a medical exemption for vaccine and was wondering how site placement work with an exemption
Girl I love your videos. They are super helpful. I’m applying to the program this month I just finished my prerequisites and I’m in Texas too!!! I’m prior Air Force medical technician, so I’m excited for skills because that is my area of expertise!! How do you say the program is overall as far as working and going to school and being a mom?
Thank you for watching!! 🤍 To be completely honest compared to what I am hearing about similar programs I felt this was my best choice. I am still able manage going to work full time and being there for all my daughters cheer games. Im starting the in person portion soon so you’ll get a glimpse of that part in my next video but I am honestly happy I chose this program because the other one’s really made me feel like it’s not possible to have a life outside of school. Still very time consuming but so rewarding! 🤍
Thank you for this! I am studying to take the HESI at the moment. I am a mom of 4, wondering about clinicals. Do you know if they inform you ahead of time about the scheduling or how it’s decided? Any information you know about clinicals is appreciated! Is BLS accepted?
Hi, I am a mom 4 wondering the same question from my understanding clinical are in the last 2 years when u taking the nursing course and they will let you know ahead of time. With 4 children time is not on my side
So I’m a mom of one and I work a full-time job, so it is very vital for me to know ahead of time I have been told that they will tell you two weeks in advance, but I don’t want to give you my word until I actually get my schedule.
Hey Brittany, did WGU let you take Foundations of Nursing during your 1st clinical term? I'm accelerating through my pre-nursing courses, but I can tell that I'm going to be cutting it close to the end of term 1 trying to squeeze in Foundations of Nursing.
Can you talk about how you accommodate your work schedule w clinical. I know we have to work the preceptors schedule but what if it’s a day that you’re scheduled to work at your actual job? Also, is there any acceleration with clinicals?
@@sanyabudhwani5452 per the handbook they are supposed to notify you at least two weeks prior to clinicals. I haven’t gotten my schedule yet. I have to complete labs before I get to clinicals. I have labs next month.
@@FutureRNBrittany oh word!! I’m so excited to hear more!!! Thank you for sharing :))))) I couldn’t find much info for this specific degree so I’m really glad you’re sharing your journey!! I still need to study for the HESI A2. Any recommendations for studying?

Can you share a video about how the payment process works, I’m starting in December and I’m so confused about it. Thanks!
So you do the initial labs in the first term with the foundations class?
i'm in florida and i am enrolled in this program but they did not tell me about the blue card i start 08/01
Hi friend love ur vids !!!! Where can u get a list of the vaccines needed before the clinical’s ? How do u start the process for the blue card ?
How many sessions of clinicals do you have? And they are 3 weeks at a time?
When do you graduate the program?
As of now 9/2025!
I wished they had this program in Virginia.
You can go if you live in VIRGINIA. I just checked into it.

I solely relied on Nurse Hub for HESI to be honest!
Hey girl! What’s the schedule like for your upcoming clinical? Do you have any other students in clinical with you?
As soon as I get it I will make a video on it! :) They are still working on my schedule

@@Nallely_Guz got you! :) Labs will come first (next month) and clinical’s will be shortly after that.

That was the only class they allowed to roll into my clinical term!

They are not very flexible on changing your dates when it comes to your work schedule they expect you to be available. I will say that.

Hi 👋 great video 😊 what kind of schedule do you have for clinical ? Like how often do you need to got?
It varies each semester the deeper in you go the more clinical’s you do. But I will show a preview of mines as soon as I get it.
@@FutureRNBrittany thank you 🙏
