Bias? Oh… you mean those podcasts that dare to share the slightest criticism of the Springboks and have hundreds of entitled and arrogant Saffas bombard them with hateful comments?
Sometimes family comes first. I’m not even an England fan nor a Marler fan, but he’s been an incredible servant for English rugby. Time for him to focus on his young family.
@ShaadHamid Well, it's rugbys loss. As an ABs fan, I wish him all the best. Gotta have characters with a point of difference otherwise rugby becomes over sanitized and dull.
Would love to hear you two discuss Eddie in the same frank detail as Danny Care. May have different opinions of the guy which is fine, but the extracts have been a fascinating insight. More of that would be great
Cya Joe you’ve been a warrior and will be missed. Same when Coley hangs up his boots. We do have some good young props that need experience against the top nations. England shoulda coulda, but imo the game was lost due to the substitutions, Ben and Marcus should’ve played 80 mins. These nearly wins need turn into wins especially at the Alibaba stadium 😖Twickers 👍🏉 Get rid of the pink frame please 😂
Brilliant episode as always guys! Was a hard loss, But a great game. Personally think Marler should have one more time to at least walk onto the field at twickenham to say goodbye after everything he has given to English rugby. What’re your thoughts?
The haka (pronounced 'ha-ka' btw not 'hack-ka'). Besides being an important cultural ritual, it adds to the theatre of the game. Replying to the challenge is perfectly acceptable (if it is done in a respectful way) and it is World Rugby that made that rule up about crossing the line, because they want the camera people getting the best shot in front of the players for commercial reasons. The All Blacks wouldn't care if you came up to them whilst doing it, if anything, it would just fire them up more (so probably not the best idea!). Also, 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' was a slave song. English crowds really need some educating about that as well it seems.
I agree with the Alex Goode analysis: the þactics from the last scrum were not spot on: getting the 8 to carry it up would probably have put them in a better position for the drop.
What was the deal with Marcus Smith drop goaling ten times ?? Buzare he never does that fir quins , and even the up and under in there ten meter line . Strange stuff.
If your from a working class background playing rugby in England you've got zero chance making it unless your from a private school! £229 a ticket COMPLETE JOKE
Are those two unrelated comments? I assume so. 1. That’s nonsense. Look at actual facts, rather than your own preconceptions and prejudices. 2. There are loads of tickets available at prices below £200
Two idiots past their best 30 tests ago! Englands scrum failed 2019 RWC final & 2023 WC against SA which cost them the game - If your from a working class background playing rugby in England you've got zero chance making it unless your from a private school! Absolute private class bias - PLEASE PLEASE AUS beat England on Saturday!
It's not about 'Class bias'. It's about funding and accessibility. You'd probably be more right if your 'class bias' means a bias against rugby by state schools and the public.
I’m loving Coley more and more each day such a humble man and sad to see Joe left 😔
As a South African, this is the only British podcast I enjoy watching including Eggchasers,I enjoy the unbias you guys have

Have a look, most SAFFA comments are respectful. English fans are way more toxic..
Proper character! Need these types of people in life let alone rugby
Surprised Marler on 95 Caps with the 6 Nations just around the corner didn't try to get to 100 Caps before retiring!
Too big for the squad, rugby and England.

@@nepiahemopo1702 good words and true. He pushed.
Great chat! Way more insightful (for obvious reasons) than a post match press conference.
Coley looks like he's stuck inside a doll house 😄

The hate against Ford is insane. People are so short sighted / suffer recency bias. Marcus missed 2 as well.

Love this insight and honesty ❤

Cole looks weird peering out of the pink box~frame (digital or otherwise). Otherwise, thanks for a good discussion guys.
Would be great to get marler apart of this set up now he has more time.
he has his own pod
As a South African we know the English pain, as we have been losing these games to NZ for many many years.

You’ve got lots to say for yourself - all of which is best ignored.
@MKRM27 Ignorance is bliss eh?
Was Marler pushed to retire?
Can't believe Marler has left
Again
@@amerikai haha, was tempted to write that too
Bit of a serial retiree.
Was gonna say AI, but that would require "I" 😂😂😂

Andy?
Great intro.
It was nonsense
As a kiwi I think marler is an awesome player, pitty
i dont get why they have to room together, can they have their own room if they want to?
Had to open a beer.

Plenty of tickets available at much lower prices - same sort of price as a football match or rock concert.
What has your school got to do with anything?
I understand that you might not have the same opportunities at different schools, but after that, clubs don't care where you went to school.
