This was my discovery last year the 1999 mule clash. I sold on ebay for $2,247. If you look up on pcgs you will see the sale price. another has been found last month from a friend of mine and in the process of grading.

Hell im just impressed you actually found a real buyer on ebay, I just started to list stuff 3 days ago. I've sold 4 coins and have had to cancel every sale due to scammers trying to get me to buy a gift card to send to their nephew with the coin for $400.. Even sent me a fake ebay paypal payment email trying to get me to think its already paid..
Man I have a lot of loose coins that I've had for over 20 years that I keep adding to. I'm getting older and I think its time I finally go through them. Thanks for all the great information and your hard work.
It's painstaking but no pain no gain! You're right and i need to buy a USB microscope and a lot of coin protectors. Thanks for all your videos and great advice Shaun!
I actually have this coin!!! Can completely make out "we trust " (reversed) just under America!! Found it coin roll hunting, didn't realize what I had till now! Time for grading!
I held one in my hand in 2002, I lived in Gardiner, NY at the time!!! I showed the coin to the guy I was seeing and he disregarded it telling me it was just damaged!!! I wish I had kept it but I didn't. I didn't collect coins then either!!! Wish I could go back in time!!!!!
Great addition to the earlier video to compare the regular Die Clash and the Mule Clash variants. Now to look very carefully at my collection...again. Thanks for sharing your ever increasing expertise with other Coin Collectors.
"$4.99 a month" 😂 I believe I know who you're referring to. You're funny love your channel brother keep up the excellent work you're my favorite guy in the game!
I've been looking at every coin through magnification but I will pay especially close attention for this one, thanks again for your informative videos.
Also weigh them, if any 1982 and newer coin weighs 3.08 grams and above its worth big money even in rough shape. That's because some coins were struck on copper and bronze planchets that broke loose while being stuck in conveyors of the mint process.
@@rachealbrancheau2853 awesome, you can get good money off ebay. Found an 82', 3.08 which is what a bronze planchet penny would weigh. Looking for that 1982 copper 3.11 penny👍
Blueridge, I just found a 2003 D Penny with another Lincoln cent on the obverse/reverse. So I just found my first mule coin. Thank you so much Sean you are a gem!
I have one of these 99's! Blowhole right center of the C in Cent, another blowhole center above the Monument, and Mule Clash just right of Lincoln on face side.
Hi Shawn I have a 1999 penny that I found in my collection . It caught my eye when I was looking for some 1966 cents that I have . The 99 caught my eye it was lay n side ways to me and it looked thicker then the rest all the Penny's I have looked at have rounded corners on the coin . This one has a Very sharp corner
Always makes us laugh with your commentary and coin facts...never disappoint and full of great market value info. The Monday Market Report is priceless for us secondary beginner coin resellers. Great content BlueRidge aka Shawn the Topographical Enthusiast lol 😆
I just found a off center with In God over the rim line, a Close AM , Strong Doubling on T in Trust and doubling on the Reverse too on columns of the Lincoln memorial and it is starting to tone up a bit.
I just found one of these literally 20 minutes ago. That’s actually why I watched this video again. Mine isn’t as strong as the only known example, but it’s definitely a mule die clash reverse. I’m sending it in tomorrow morning. 😁
Mr Shaun, I just discovered the D version of this coin last night hunting through a box of pennies! I’ve already posted one video of it on my channel, I’m uploading another video of it with close up of the back of the coin right now….
It is NOT the only one !! I just had one last week !! I screwed up and I think I spent it at the grocery store accidently !!! I could kick myself , for sure ! Ughhh
You're the best Blue Ridge! I've been addicted to you're videos like crazy lately lol and I honestly can't thank you enough for all your hard work you put into making these informative, yet very enjoyable videos. I love all the knowledge that you have to share with us! I promise you that I learn something new in everyone of your videos I've seen! I'm from a small town in Colorado called Pueblo. The sad thing is that the couple coin shops I went to with some of my best coins to sell, didn't want to give me close to at least half of what my coins were worth!! I know for sure that I have coins that are worth some cash! I've been saving coins for as long as I can remember? If it looks cool or different in anyway I keep it! But I'm almost positive that I have multiple mule clashed coins! Like my 1979 Susan B. Anthony! I would love to show you Shawn, and to get your expertise input honestly! Do you think it's possible that you and I can connect together sometime soon please? I would greatly appreciate it if so! I can even pay you for your time if you want me to? And I'm pretty sure I have a couple of coins that you would enjoy. I'm sorry this comment is so long! I just have so much I'd love to discuss and learn with you! So good sir, can and will you please reach back out to me once you get this message? Please and thank you again Shawn!
I have a mule. Its a 1987 D lincoln with the wing of the Eagle on a quarter on each side of lincolns head. Very visible no magnification needed. I also have a state quarter with a 7 on it that isn't supposed to be there and isn't displayed on the coin anywhere else.
I found a 1999. Its (I think) die clash with 1887 Lady Liberty. Has the hair flowing and all but also has the s from around her neck in the 1887 coin and on the s is an 8 and a 7. At the bottom is ahe outline of her face and she is wearing the headpiece. Won't lie...its got me a lil sideways this mornin. I've looked again at it because you know how after you look for so long at something your eyes have a harder time discerning. It's all right there...just...here I am. Wow!
My bank Teller gave me a 2015 P dime today that has me scratching my head. It weighs 2.4 grams. It is smaller and thicker than a regular dime and it has no reeded edge. In fact it's edge has a very clearly defined half and half Copper strip and Nickel looking strip. Never seen anything quite like it. ???
So I have one with some environmental damage from rough circulation but it is a 1999d and I'm positive that is showing noticeable clash errors on obverse and reverse. Could you message me your thoughts and I'll see what I can do about photos. Please and ty
I have tons of time on my hands... what would be a good starting point if I wanted to try to make a little money dealing money? I ended up disabled a few years ago so my mobility is somewhat restricted, but this looks like something I’d have fun doing! I also have my dads coin collection, (mostly wheat ear pennies), thousands and thousands of pennies, a little silver, and some paper money. The collection is sentimental so I’m not looking to sell it, but I think it would be fun to look for errors.
HI , I need some help, I have a 1999 D penny , above the e and n in cent there is a capital A resembling the A in America I can't find this error anywhere could you point me in the right direction

It is not fair to beginner collectors to claim that I am a beginner. I am whatever comes before that, so please take this into consideration when I tell you that I found what appears to be something along the lines of the last penny in this video, multiplied by 20. I am waiting for a microscope but took photos with my phone and photocopied it in color and magnified it 400%. Every time and from every angle I look at the coin, the pictures and the photocopies, I see something new and somehow it reminds me of Chicanná architecture. I think if I spun it backwards on a turntable I would hear the words "I buried Paul". If you are interested in seeing it, please let me know. The closest thing I have found as a point of comparison refers to the subject coin as being a product of mad die clash. That along with a Dominican coin might explain what happened. Notwithstanding the forgoing newbie speculation, I have not dismissed the possibility of the coin being the product of a mad man with a vise who really hates cents. Sorry, I know two thirds of a pun is p.u.
I can surely say that I have at least one country of this type, and possibly as many as three but I couldn't determine that this type exists. I never spend change. I'll look for clashes coins.
