  • Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation EUCLID Class object, SCP-5150 - Anomalous Dental Office Animation.
Join the DR BOB SQUAD by going to / drbob and become an Honorary Member of the Dr. Bob Research Staff!
SCP-5150 is a dental office located outside the northwestern perimeter of Indianapolis, Indiana. SCP 5150 measures approximately 140 square meters, with the interior of the building measuring 115 square meters. The only distinguishable feature of SCP5150 's exterior is an electrical sign above the front entrance of the building, which reads "Dr. John Hendricks, DDS." SCP-5150's interior includes six rooms where SCP-5150-1, SCP-5150-2, and SCP-5150-3 instances reside.
SCP-5150-1 is an entity that occupies the reception desk within SCP-5150. The physical characteristics of SCP-5150-1 resemble standard humanoid features, with the exception of its oral cavity.
SCP-5150-2 instances are dental hygienists who have been observed in all sections of SCP-5150, excluding the waiting area.
SCP-5150-3, otherwise known as "Dr. John Hendricks," has been observed in SCP-5150's three examination rooms and its personal office. The current research focus is to ascertain the cause of SCP-5150-3’s anomalous abilities.

If theirs one thing I learned when it comes to being a D-class, sympathy and respect can be your best survival tools. This guy was just put through the most barbaric, painful and horrifying experience of his life and managed to walk away. If that doesn't earn some respect and sympathy from the Foundation, then I don't know what does.

I feel like I was the only one who actually enjoyed the dentist as a kid. While I didn’t like the device put in my mouth to take x-rays of my teeth, everything else was fine. Then again, nothing really scared me as a child except a couple of scary medical shows. I actually could tolerate a lot of movies my peers found scary, such as Coraline.

Maybe it was somewhat based off a real life criminal dentist. I remember hearing about a case of a dentist that operated on kids from low income households. I recall hearing that he made up bs lies about them needing various dental work done and ended up pulling a bunch of their teeth out. Can't remember the doctors name but the case really stuck with me. I heard about it from one of those true crime videos. There were even some pictures of the kids' mouths.

@@riripari2042seems like dentistry is easiest to scam cause in my area this one dentist would tell low to low-ish income families the children needed braces or other corrective measures. I don’t have a gigachad smile, but never needed braces and this one dentist insisted I did. Several of my friends had their parents cave and get them braces. Dunno if they still practice or are in the area still but that was a weird 2-3 year period

Personally I enjoy the positive anomalies and side of Foundation more, such as anomalies that are just friendly or weird but not harmful and producing interesting things/results, but the nightmare ones are pretty decent too! This one could be a whole, full length horror movie or book all by itself. I certainly wouldn't wish any person a dentist visit like this, even though I'm not _too_ afraid of regular dentist visits.

I've never been scared of the dentist, for two reasons:
    1. First, I've had extremely good oral health my entire life. I drank from an fluoridated well from 2001 AD to 2023 AD, so brushing my teeth was always a priority. I've never missed brushing my teeth twice a day, no matter how sick I was or tired I got. Thus, the dentist has NEVER had to get the drill. I am thirty years old, and still no cavaties! (My great-grandfather lived seventy years with no cavaties!)
    2. The staff LOVED me. I was always a good patient. My hygenist cared for me for something like twenty years or more. When she retired, I gave her a heart-shaped ceramic box with a loving note inside. She had cared for me all those years, and she wept when I gave her the ceramic heart.
I've never had a negative experience at a dentist, so I've never had fear. I had my wisdom teeth yanked out with pliars, as many people have, but I was fully sedated and unconscious.

The good news about that poor man with thirty new teeth is that such a problem CAN be fixed.

Yikes, I'm glad I have a full set of prosthetic teeth (I had weak teeth so I was prone to cavities so they had to be removed and the post-surgical healing process three times in a row but worth the misery in the end😬😁) and go to my family dentist only once or twice a year for a checkup or, if they're damaged, get a replacement

Instead of deploying MTF agents to raid, the only method to take down the anomaly, is by deploying Dr Wondertainment's dangerous product, SCP-2396(The Candy Girl), since the hygienists were vulnerable to sugary treats. I wonder what Dr Hendricks would do if he had an uninvited patient who couldn't be handled by his staff, if Dr Bob plan to make another SCP vs SCP video again.

Ngl, this is def horrifying, but Pipe Nightmare had me straight up queasy. Thankfully for me I guess, the dentist was just a pain in the a** because they yelled at me all the time XD It was more of a 'oh great. Time for them to tell me how bad I'm doing at this' than a fear factor.

The most disturbing thing about this video is that the dentist looks and sounds like a dentist I actually had when I was a kid. When he told dude he was "doing fine" I almost blacked out. Cuz I have never forgotten that particular visit to the dentist.

A few years ago my mother went to an emergency (non anomalous) dentist over the weekend for a post extraction infection....They told her to cut her own stitches out! 😳 Years later and she's still picking bits of it out, after our _real_ dentist got what they could on her next visit. Plus as a child I was the victim of a very abusive dentist who ordered several unneeded procedures, denied the use of dual anesthetics, and laughed when I cried from the pain!...Sometimes the non-anomalous dentists are scary enough on their own 😅
