Hello everyone. Well recently it has been THE GREAT ESCAPE around here. We have to do some temporary patch work on the dog run in order to keep them from getting out. We don't want them to run off and possibly get hurt or even killed. Roxane is seeing some of her hard work pay off in the garden already. With us getting so many eggs, Roxane decided to continue preserving them and also make a special treat. Thank you all for being here, we appreciate you! Enjoy!

Anthony, use a hot wire around the fence and they will get the message. Once you leave it there for awhile they won’t attempt getting out agsin!
That is what finally worked for me, hasn't been on for about 3 years now and they still stay off the fence and no digging under either.
I've done this as well. It doesn't hurt then at all.
Yep it is no different then the training collars and the learn fast
We had a St. Bernard that was crawling under the fence. A hot wire around his yard put a stop to that. It was much more humane than having him get hit by a car.
Check chemicals in your miracle grow
If you put a line of hot wire on the inside of the dog run after a few days they stay away from the fence
When we had too many eggs to eat or give to friends, we donated them to shelters that provided for the less fortunate.
I'd move the doghouse to the center of the pen.
Move the dog house to the middle of the pen.

We had a dog that did that. We finally had to put an electric wire on top and bottom. Better a shock than a bullet from a hunter or a neighbor cause they chase cows. It’s a game! They do eventually learn to stay away from the wire.

Roxane, when you freeze the egg packets lay them out on a sheet pan in the freezer. Once frozen you can stack them. If you put them on a wire shelf they will freeze into the ridges and become difficult to take out.
Rox miracle grow is an ALL synthetic fertilizer. Your plants absorbs the synthetic organisms and then you eat it. Anthony was talking about all natural ingredients so thought you may want to change using the synthetic fertilizer to something more eco friendly. Like fish emulsion. Just sharing some info for you

Ok for the flowers but not what i would be feeding to my family. There are many ways to naturally build up the soil. I always added a bag of composted cow manure to every bed each season. Black Cow is the brand most widely available in my area. Loads of all natural methods to help you keep your edibles thriving without using a petrol chemical based fertilizer.

That is exactly what I do with my eggs!!! I lable the bags with how many eggs are in the package so I can bake with them too!!! The Garden and all of the flowers are doing well!!! I do the same thing with my eggshells too!!! I pray the fix on the dog run works!!! It's Great that we are all getting sooo many eggs!!! The baby bunnies are looking Great!!! God Bless Us All!!!

Have you thought about getting electric fencing one row at the bottom and one row about dog head hight. Dont forget to do 2 and 4 eggs as you can put them in cakes as well. You can also freeze dry them. You can also give the eggshells back to the chickens
I had a dog the would jump the fence with electric wire on top of it, he would just yip as he went over and keep going 🙄🤣❤️
My husband and I really enjoy watching your channel . After hearing you talk about all the chemicals found in all the different products people use and don’t even realize it, and about how we should research it etc, I’m wondering why you would use miracle grow? Copper sulfate is also a bactericide, and as such, is incredibly harmful to soil life. Anything with the Miracle-Gro label should be avoided entirely: Bagged potting soil and garden soil, 'Shake n Feed,' the blue crystals, and yes, even so-called “Organic” Miracle-Gro products should be entirely avoided.

Roxy, have you thought about organic instead? The price is the same. Neem Oil is good for Bugs. The fertilizers that are organic are about the same. You can look up on line and make your own too.
If you care about the chemicals so much, I don’t think miracle grow on the food you eat is the best way you can go. Glad Anthony woke up to what they’re doing to our food. Wait til he figures out about “great value” meats!

Give your chickens egg shells also. They need calcium and their own is best. It will also make their egg shells harder.

You need to get the eggshell down to a fine powder for the tomato’s to benefit.

I agree with the hot wire, top and bottom, because I would bet they will climb the wire to the top. Smart dogs!
Put the panels on the inside then run vertical boards over the panel and be very generous with the fixings.
Cattle panels on the outside and electric wire top and bottom move dog house in middle wire on the ground also chew out
It looks great but, I believe had you put the wire on before the cross boards they would not be able to tear through the wire. Putting it on last creates weak spots. Just my observation 🤷🏻♀️ but I’m not a fence builder
Ron to keep the skin off your pudding put a layer of plastic wrap over the pudding and press it down on top to keep that skin from forming it will be so fresh that way!!
Rabbit poop around those flowers in front of Thunderdome will do them good.

Been through this before!! After rolls of wire and continuously patching, I went with corrugated metal on the inside between posts so I could still see wood. It kept the dogs in and looked good at the same time! Good luck!

Roxan. I know how to make a garden tea that's beter than miracle grow! You need to buy a cheap pair of nylons..a large carbage can snd a bucket to pit your nylons in with a heavy stone. Shovel some chicken manure in the nylon pants part that is stretched over the bucket when it full pull up the waist ban twist it and tie the legs around thevwaist tight. Now put the panty hose in the garbage can out of the bucket. Fill with water almost to the top. I put my garbage can on two cement blocks. Wait a weel. Stire it with a big stick. Put some in a bucket with 2/3rd water. Douse your plants with it. They will sing. Good for flowers too.
Yes it does smell but not after you put it on your plants. Miracle is the worst chemical to use for veg. 😮😅😅

I think if your dogs can tear away wire from the fence, and you need to put something on top of the pen, I think they could easily chew through bird netting. Hope they don't try to jump out.
Fill in the whole in the lower area with 2x4's. Cattle panels here in OR are $28.99 at Wilco farm supply.
you might want to try an electric fence at the top and bottom if the cattle panel doesn't work
My daughter’s dog learned how to climb chain link. He was a stinker! We fenced the dog yard with vertical boards alternating inside and outside boards so they couldn’t climb the horizontal boards. I think you could leave a slightly larger gap if you wanted the dogs to be able to see through the fence.
Electrify the wire. It will not hurt them but it will teach them to respect the wire fences. you normally only have to do it for a week or so.

I would put a small piece of wood between the bigger one to make the holes smaller so the can’t fit through

I know that our family my 3 sons and 2 of them are married and 1 grandchild have all switched to all of products that are natural and chemical free. Our family has also started gardens to feed our family hopefully over the winter. We have even changed some of our pots and pans from Teflon. We are all trying very hard and in some cases going to vinegar and water and baking soda to do cleaning. It is very hard because as you say the big companies do not allow for really natural products. Let's do what our past generations of using lemon juice and other products to keep our country free of chemicals.

Omgosh!!! With the prices of eggs going from $6-$30 for a box of 60. Currently it’s at $13. I would love to be able to find ways to store for future use. Blended with cheese and sausage is the absolute perfect idea! I love the idea of freezing blended eggs. ❤ Thank you 🙏 😊

If you give grind the egg shells, it makes good grit for your earthworms. It also makes for a quicker release for your calcium loving plants.

Canna lilly. They have beautiful glowers. If you wash your rice, instead of pouring in down the sink drain save it and water your flowering garden plants. It works.
Dogs can climb over fences if they really want out
You could put a hot wire on the top of the dog pen. We had to do that to our dogs and they haven't gotten out since we did that. A couple time touching that hot wire and that was it.
Too bad the dogs are escaping. I wouldn't think they would tear through the fence! 😊❤

If you end up using cattle panels you should remove the wood, it will basically serve no purpose. And move the dog houses to the middle where they won’t be jumping on top of them and jump over the fence.
Anthony. They did not do this when you put them in the dog lot. Your PEN . It is no dog RUN. your PEN is too small. You have 3 or 4 big dogs confined in a teeny tiny area. I had hoped you would build then something at LEAST as big as the garden lot. Use that small thing you built for goats or pigs or some other farm animals. Build those dogs a fence around a much bigger area! Problem solved! PLEASE . I know you want your dogs happier

Use 47 " 12ga Field fence. Stay away from the welded wire fence. It just does not last.
I used to grow bush beans every year but to get enough I'd have to plant many plants. Then I found asparagus green beans or they're also called yard long beans. I grow them be about 10 to 12 in Long pencil sized. I got more Harvest off of one plant than I did three bush bean plants
The Iris may not bloom this year,anytime you transplant them sometimes they skip a year blooming,the cannons will take off and grow and bloom in mid summer and get up to 4 to 6 feet tall.

Anthony, the wire you used is a lot stronger when you use the fence staples along the inside of the boards. I had German Shepherds who did the same when I didn't staple along the boards. It made a hell of a difference stapling it bro.
