That is one of the nices renovations of an RV I have seen. What a great job. I am looking forward to seeing you build your cabin and develop your property. We'll done you two, we'll done. Thank you for sharing.
I'm impressed with the renovation of your RV. Y'all thought of everything to survive in Alaska. Wow!!! so glad you painted the outside of the RV, no disrespect to the previous owners. Thanks for sharing the full tour of your RV, I enjoy it very much...
You did a great job with the RV. Glad you have a good space that is comfy while you build your home. Thanks for sharing. Good luck. I look forward to future videos✌️❤️❤️🇺🇸
Woah guys! The RV was well renovated. You really thought of everything so you would be prepared for living in cold weather and off-grid. I like the color of the cabinets. Well done, you really did a great job. Love and be safe! 😘🤗🌼ve
Great job guys. You will look back one day and marvel at the slice of paradise you built with your own hands. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Thanks for sharing this part of your story. You two are such hard workers. One thing you left out of the tour...I wanted to see the big guy step into the shower 😂🤣 💧 I'm really looking forward to the cabin construction this year. Take care!! ❤
Really look forward to your videos. Really thorough explanation of everything and balanced amongst both of you. Can't wait to heard more as your adventures progress.
Всё продумано до мелочей и технично грамотно сделано, как говорится с душой. Очень правильное решение закрыть окна утеплителем . Удачи вам и успехов реализовать все ваши планы. Всем добра и счастья будьте здоровы. 👍👍👍😉
Wow. You two are incredible. Awesome job renovating the RV. At the very least, if you ever decide to sell it, it will surely fetch a good price. I can only imagine the house you will build if this is just your renovated RV!
Thanks! It was a low-budget renovation but it's cozy and feels like a home. It took a lot of man-hours. We both worked nonstop in between our work shifts cleaning, painting, and dismantling inside this thing for months. Just worked on it until we were happy with the outcome. The resale was something we thought about as well. We have a pretty minimal investment into it other than time, but I am certain we can recoup the money invested and maybe some profit if needed. Our cabin will be limited by our budget and time but over the years we will certainly make it a cozy home. Can't wait to see the outcome. Thanks for your support👍👍
Thank you for sharing. Since you know you can live in the RV during the winter, are you going to start your cabin this Spring ? I have to applaud you two for having more common sense than most. I also like the fact that you’re so ambitious!
Glad you enjoyed the video! We are already back to work on the cabin, we will have various update videos on it as we progress. We always have a plan, and always seek out knowledge for whatever new projects we are tackling. Making mistakes is expensive so we work to do things properly the first time. The biggest limitation on our ambitions is time and money, haha, if we had more of that we could make some incredible videos to share with everyone.
Wow the amount of work that you both put into this is impressive. Every part was 100% better. I cannot imagine the hours it took to clean it all. Great job!
Thank you for the RV video. You both did a beautiful job. I noticed the fire extinguisher at the entrance door. do you have fire/smoke detectors and carbon dioxide detectors. ❤👍🏴
I am looking forward to seeing you build your cabin and develop your property. A great job on the RV a very nice renovation, you thought of a lot of things to live there in Alaska.
Wow, I just happened to find your channel. I saw the thumbnail for this video of your remodled RV tour, and I'm watching it right now. I love it! You did such an incredible job, and your RV is beautiful! I subscribed, I'm already hooked lol. It's fascinating seeing that you live in Alaska, and, I'm reading comments about your cabin, I can't wait to see it too!. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and experiences with us folks on UA-cam. Wishing you continued blessings and great times. I'll be watching from California. Take care ☺️🙋🏽♀️❤️❤️
Thank you! It is far from perfect, but it has kept us cozy these last few years while improving our property. It will be a welcome change to move into the cabin when it is completed.
You can bring thr temperature up on the RV floor by using the pink or purple hard foam to put between the ground and the side skirts then tape off the gaps. Great video!
You did a fantastic job with the renovation! Thinking ahead with no hotel expense while traveling and being able to haul a lot of your belongings as well is a ++. Worked well to live in it for awhile, great planning! Looking forward to your cabin build, always a pleasure to watch~~
So impressed with what you accomplished with your RV renovation, and in Alaska, adaptation. Very innovative solutions to some pretty gnarly challenges. But you know what, I wouldn't have expected anything less from your awesome team. You addressed my suggestion after your previous video. I kept waiting to hear something about skirting? I genuinely look forward to your videos. I would never compare my meager skills to those of Chris, but I can say we have similar though process and analytical approaches. I look forward to your next vide4o, and really looking forward to your cabin build.
Thanks Chuck 🙂 , we did give skirting a thought, the basement is spray foam insulated on the underside near the ground and it has rigid foam board in the floor cavity. The manufacturer intended for the basement to be heated to keep water tanks from freezing but we blocked off the heat vents to that lower area because it most certainly would not stay warm enough in the temperatures here. I'm sure the engineers building them never thought anyone would attempt to live in and use the RV in a sub-Arctic region winter haha... with the air suspension lowered all the way the body of the RV is only a few inches from the ground, that area was quickly filled with snow by November blocking off air flow underneath for the majority of winter. Glad you are enjoying our videos! We have a variety of projects to work on between now and next winter, I'm hopeful we can capture the moments and have great videos to share! Thanks again Chuck.
What a wonderful job you guys did preparing your RV to live in full time in Alaska. Very wise, and well thought out planning. I am sure you will do a wonderful job on building your cabin and I’m looking forward to watching your cabin build.
In germany they sell a spinner for doing laundry and actually if you can find one they almost spin the clothes dry I had on in the army n just hand washed my clothes n spin the clothes and used a few drying racks. I was pretty amazed how well they worked.
Excellent! Very informational for anyone going to Alaska or camping out in the wilderness. You have a talent that I believe would bring in a good income for both of you. I love the changes you made in the kitchen. One of my biggest gripes is the kitchen area of our RV. Cabinets are too high, no counter space, and wasteful storage areas. I could live in 300sq.ft. for sure.
Wow that is a lot of reno ! Looks great & gives you the space you need for now, Very nice job :) Smart thing to close off all the vented areas , Like you said you knew it was going to be cold where you were going, If your willing to work at a dream it will come true !
Nice video You made a good job with renovations and thought everything through on how it was going to work best for you both All very best wishes and look forward to the next one Southampton England UK
Thanks! It is hard to say, we want it done ASAP but we also want it done correctly. I'm sure we will have several great videos on the construction process this year!
You might wanna consider building your own wind mill as a backup power source Im sure there are designs on line as Im sure its quite windy up there at times just a thought as " I know winter is a dark season. And look up a rocket mass heater n do some research n you will find it is the most efficient wood burning stove but you have to build it yourself with pretty simple materials the mass unit is the most important because it stores and holds the heat for like a half a day so you burn less wood. A little more effort to build initially but less of a backbreaker once its working!. Id say its pretty ingenius once you understand them.
Great job with the RV, a lot of work I am sure. You guys have lots of very useful knowledge (plumbing, electrical, sewing). Where is that puppy dog (Benelli)! 🙂↕️
Absolutely Gorgeous and Really an Amazing Job on solar and Water propane Etc. You could Keep it For Family and friends to Stay After your Cabin is Built 😊 You probably mentioned that in another video I just haven't watched them All Yet😊
Like to say first .....we enjoy your podcasts ! Look forward to each episode. Two suggestions: Maybe consider shrink wrap on your RV windows ....we had an old house....and it helped . Also ....I've heard and seen people use stryro foam around the bottom of RV's and campers ....I've heard it helps with cold floors .... So enjoying catching up to your latest video....
That is one of the nices renovations of an RV I have seen. What a great job. I am looking forward to seeing you build your cabin and develop your property. We'll done you two, we'll done. Thank you for sharing.

Those renovations look great. The new flooring and enamel cabinet paint turned out really well, those really enhance the interior.
Thank you!

Wow the amount of work that you both put into this is impressive. Every part was 100% better. I cannot imagine the hours it took to clean it all. Great job!
It was a low-budget, high-man-hour project for sure. We had a vision and just tackled it piece by piece until we were happy with it🙂 Thanks!
