From how many times I watched, I only spotted 3. A blue lizard slugcat in the beginning. A blue slugcat with a scarf and a plurpleish one that looked like a ghost. I also think I saw a purple scav oc.
Okay, the idea of the slugcats "singing the songs" of the ancients when they're gone is genius. Also the fact that it ends on saint, the one who will still be there with the other echoes when everyone else has ascended, waking up as if ALL OF THIS is happening over and over again in the cycle? *chef's kiss*
You know I'm not convinced Saint is trapped like the other echoes. Saint is so clearly different, probably because they CHOOSE to be turned into an echo, once their duty of ascending every soul is over, when the cycles are done they don't have any primal desires binding them to the cycles any more
@@MsTerkup Saint is a bodhisattva has always been my interpretation- Saint has the knowledge of how to ascend, and the ability to, but chooses not to. The dialogue between Moon and Pebs implies as such, where Saints cycle is a single cycle, turned in on itself over and over again forever. Saint has undertaken the task of ascending everyone else before themselves. They are quite literally martyring themselves for everyone else by undertaking the sisyphean task of ascending everyone and putting the cycles to rest for good.

1:28 CHILLS. UTTER CHILLS. This entire map is so well done, but that part specifically had chills running down my spine. The beat drop (?) combined with the animation is phenomenal.
This is so good, and the little things in the credits, acknowledging bits of each individual, genuinely made this feel more like a team effort than MAPs usually do with how clear it was that people worked together and you the host knew things about them
*punching the air rn* I can’t believe I somehow missed this map when it released, I watched part 16 so much because I liked the music and I still some how missed XP Glad UA-cam randomly recommended it, it was a great watch and well worth the wait
All of the animators did such an amazing job depicting the stories that take place in Rainworld! Also I’m really happy that this MAP has Survivor and Monk reuniting and returning to their colony :)

I had been listening to the map call ever since it got announced because I loved the style and the music. I couldn’t wait for this, it looks amazing!
