Other card options: King Tiger Wanghu: Keep Tsukuyomi and Goats off the field entirely. Pitch Black Warwolf: Anti Mirror Force and Sakuretsu Armor. Cyber Jar : Swarm the board with your beatsticks. Ceasefire: Removes element of surprise and synergizes with Cyber Jar. Light of Intervention and Final Attack Orders can also function in this role too. Gaia Power: Gorilla, Ox and King Tiger can now run over GK Spy. Gorilla can run over Jinzo. Final Attack Orders: Opponent can't run and hide from your beatsticks. Ojama Trio: Clogs up your opponents monster zones and EBO has something to pierce along with burn damage. Des Wombat: Side deck for Burn decks.
Sangan is indeed not always going to be useful in the deck, but it does have Exiled Force, D.D. Warrior Lady, and Serpent as targets, all of which are pretty useful in their own rights. Especially Serpent, since you are running Abyss Soldier in the deck. Sangan can also put on pressure, because some people are afraid to remove it right away and can attack freely in some cases. Just something to keep in mind.
Necromancy For Kids very good points I may have to reconsider my omission of him although I would argue that ROTA does already search any of the warriors I may need; however, it would be good to have better access to sinister serpent. I suppose it comes down to player preference. Thank you for your input!
Lowkey lyesmith very true Sangan is a great bluff turn one. I’d argue that for this particular build using it solely as a turn one bluff is a bit situational but I’ll definitely keep that in mind as I continue play testing with this deck.
Since your main beaters are earth, consider using 3 Gaia power and 2 Terraforming. Also think about Gigantes and Rock Spirit, since they can enable pretty explosive plays. And since there is a lot of banishing going on, return from the different dimension is a nice game ender.
Thank you for the suggestions, I've actually been using Mystic Swordsmen Lv. 2 a lot recently in some other decks. Maybe I will have to make an updated deck profile sometime in the future.
Rachel Haddon you could run it in the main deck half your life points is a pretty steep cost though that’s why I prefer it in the side. Your traps do help you win but it’s not as essential as say keeping necrovalley on the field for gravekeepers.
I prefer the format without Exarion as well but some people prefer the format with Exarion that is why I provided an alternative for both ways to play in this video.

Sangan also serves as a t1 summon to minimize information to the opponent

I'm also surprised you put solemn judgement in the side deck I really like it in the main deck.
