Now you gotta build Turbo Chaos to see the real bdif of Goat format.
Overall a pretty standard list. I only like 2 Scapegoat and 3 Metamorphosis because i find 3 Scapegoat to be a little bricky when there are so many impactful cards you can play. I do recommend at least a copy of Torrential as well. Once you show the Torrential, better players play more cautiously into your backrow which is in your favor d/t Goat controls biggest weakness being strong aggro decks. I also side Dustshoot but if you expect a lot of Warrior i could see the need to main it. I like to play Dust Tornado for the mirror. Personal suggestions of course. There is a whole topic of discussion for the side deck.

I know right! I have been playing Chaos Turbo recently too. I wanted to see how this video's feedback before I start making more deck profiles like these.
Goat has been really fun and I've been using it to get back into the nostalgia of Yu-Gi-Oh, but without modern day issues.
I was really surprised how much the goat metagame can provide and a current growing online community!
Also thanks for your tips and perspective too! Yeah warriors is definitely something to watch out for and can side Dustshoots. I know Chaos Turbo can definitely show representation both in ranking in Dueling Book and hosted tournaments. I've also considered 2 Scapegoats. But I kept it at 3 because of how versatile it is while saving me an extra turn to come back on the crack back. Lol.

I do not like dustshoots against warrior and here is why. Warrior decks just summon a monster and set their whole hand. You're better off playing real answers and dustshoots tend to be strong in the mirror or against chaos

@@Dizzy2deathyep totally agree! If you're expecting warriors in an event definitely have the Dust shoots sided.
This deck profile at the time expected more Chaos Turbo decks.

Bro this is the best format , I just started playing locals with goat / Edison , my last locals I won with warrior box which is this decks worst matchup

That's awesome to hear other players playing it as well! It's fun! Great to hear you have a locals in person! I've been looking around but I've mainly done online.

@@CommanderJaime yeah it’s weird trying to find some , a lot of people I met who played as a kid / in college at the time for Goat / Edison near me have started again because modern YGO is too expensive and the power creep

@@CommanderJaime same as you I wanted to play a second game and I decided to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh but I found the modern game to be a bit difficult with rulings and card prices as I haven’t played modern Yugioh competitively since 2018 so I got into goat and surprisingly had a majority of the stuff in my bulk

@@SpartanTrigger yep exactly how I felt! Plus things change more frequently than Vanguard which is basically a whole cycle of learning what's relevant and new matchups/plays. I was looking for a second game to wind down more and Goat turned out a better option for me.
Yeah I found a lot of the cards in my old bulk too! I literally still had cards from the original 4 decks (Yugi, Kaiba, Pegasus, Joey). I've gone to TCGplayer to get higher rarities. Konami has done reprints recently with the 25th anniversary sets and prior World box sets too. Super cool and easy to get a real life deck for new players.

@@CommanderJaime also for standard Goats , I’d highly suggest at least 2 solemn judgments in the main as once the deck loses tempo to chaos / warrior it’s kinda a snowball effect , in my build I also play a varied flip engine 1 faith / 1 merchant as to make my deck less susceptible to NOC as your light engine is generally slim compared to your dark flips

Nice! Didn't know you played it too! I've been enjoying this format! I'm experimenting with other decks too. It's really cool to play with the old cards, definitely feel the nostalgia.

Are you aware of the Royal Decree version of Goat Control? It's very mean
