Hi Chris,
8 hours spent organizing is never wasted time!
Stay safe.
Cleaning up after projects will change your life for the better, trust me.
Thats what i like about you,you show it all,the good, the bad and the ugly. Youre not just a farmer, youre just like alot of us out here just trying to make our way.
I'm sure you have it figured out by now, but just for next time. If you need to make a tube or circular strap. You can always find the circumference of a circle with the furmula 2*PI* R where R is the radius so 3 inches in your case, 2*PI* (3) = 18.85 inches. You can then go find some sheet metal and cut a strip of what ever length you need and roll it into shape. After welding, you may need to peen the welded side to true it up. 👍
Don’t know what you are? Chris, you’re a young struggling FARMER. A farmer either wears one “stinking big hat” or a whole lot of different ones. Keep on pushing forward. You’ve got what it takes. Keep on farming and I’ll keep on watching.
Just a thought. Put your work bench off the side of ur concrete so u have more work space in the shop. At least on the concrete side.
Looks great i saw you today at the farm show should have said hi but im just a kid and I get nervous talking to people for some reason but looking great keep up the great work
Thank you, to everyone who helped Mr. Duffy work on the red semi truck it is beautiful, and glad to see how it has gone so well and yet so hard.
A farmer who is determined by the love of a truck to get the job done with the goal of an dream of getting the truck completely done.
Sincerely!
R.S.V.
Nice to see your truck back together again
Gettin the shop squared away, looks much better Chris. Keep plugging away and keep em comin🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
The truck and the shop look a lot better
Don't you feel better knowing what you have and where it's at
Looks good Chris, now just make it a habit to keep it that way. Next your pickup. Deep clean it and fix the small things left to .
Congrats on DOT numbers.
Then sit down and make a detailed list of repairs, and adjustments before spring gets going. GOOD LUCK 🤞
TAKE CARE AND GET MORE SLEEP !!!!
It was good to finally get to meet you today at the farm show keep up the good work good to see everything coming together
Glad you got Mack back together and runs
Your a Jack of all trades master of none. Same as most farmers. We’re a rear breed 👍
Keep up the great work Chris
Shop looks great 👍
It's great you made sometime to organize your shop
Love that old Singer machine man. Brings back memories of watching my mom sew and making all us kids learn how to also. Not a bad thing to be able to do. Haven't made it to the end of the video yet,but if you get rid of it through my name in the hat please Chris.
Happy for you Chris. Glad it is back together. Been watching you since the bicyclist!
LOL me too!
Chris, do some research on that singer sewing machine some of those old one are quite valuable.
Sure like to hear that Mac run.. great job bud.
Should take all those extra tools and make a go bag to stick in the truck so you always have some basic stuff on hand
I finally did that myself, have a tool bag with all the essentials and a 200 piece socket set, just the cheap stuff but good enough to get a truck going in a tree line. 👍
i dont commet often, but your videos are great. thanks so much for your videos, and yenko, keep up the good work!! and the crew chief too.
If you have a plasma cutter take the one that fits it and trace what you need out and weld them together
You didn't waste that organization time. It makes a difference in the long run. Picking up at the end of the day makes it so much better. I've let it go and worked organized other times. The difference in time saved makes so much difference in the long run.
When I was a kid, mechanics like you and me were called shade tree mechanics because they used a tree for lifting things and shade.
Great video Chris thank you for sharing and time can't wait for next video
Chris you need a radio in that shop! Just something to listen too. Have a good one!! 🤟🤟🤙🤙
He might have a radio just can’t have it playing when filming for youtube due to copy write stuff
Congratulations Chris nicely done😊
Looking good Chris
Thanks your video Chris
Can you make a toolbox with air connection between the fueltank and fender???
Be safe. Have fun man
Need big Farming with Duffy AG sign now for your shop inside
Thought about lettering the tanks? Probably not cheap, but it's a heck of a good rolling billboard.
You are a champion...Chris...keep up the good work
TBH keep that little Singer as a mascot. Most repair stores have 8 to 20 of the old things brought in each year and they go for very cheap.

Looks good!
Well, the plate on the inside and then put a 6 inch tube on the inside of the seven, and it will sit lower
The Mack is looking good! I gotta asked, would you be fixing it up now if it wasn't recked?
Take the 6in one cut it and weld it on top of the bigger one
Hi Chris; Geoff here in Australia, in Australia 🇦🇺 we would call you a bush mechanic that is someone that is from a farm or works in the Australian out back that is self tourt and not qualified mechanic like you but can get yourself out of the shit. Have a good day mate.
Regards Geoff 😅
We always say when we don't find something, it's at a safe place. The only problem is, you don't know where that damn safe place is. 😅
Is that a singer feather weight? You should get at least $100 for it if it is. With the oak case in good condition they go for 300 to 500.
👍
🚛
With all their extra wrenches, make self a tool bag to put in the trucks
Just tinker er he says. Much more than that.
Leave enough Cable in case you have to make adjustments
Go to a duct making shop. They could make something custom.
Dicks used trucks in Maine told me you can’t register military vehicle anymore in Maine. I don’t know if that includes trailers like yours, to me the tires on your trailer don’t look like street tire, will they take speed or heat, yes I know you’ve run them. Dot # , does NY have fuel permit stickers?Maybe this is why you bought the trailer in New Jersey so cheap.
You might want to keep box trailer under carriage for military tanker.
@@davdhynes3518what undercarrige??
Its some axles mounted to the underside of the box
He should keep the landing feet
Easier that starting from scratch.@@willianvos3521
@@willianvos3521 lots of trailers have floating axle frames to adjust for weight and radius.
Duffy can you put the decal on the hood of ken
DAFFY THINGS ARE COMING TOGETHER ❤️
what you otta to do, is paint the tanks, steps and rear fenders black... just my 2 cents
You should have made your DOT numbers match the other decals as in same color no white black and gray
Farm toy tour?
Roooaaad Trip Safe!!!👍👍👍
That PTO cable in a bad spot in my opinion, should be on a angle iron bracket mounted at bottom LH side of dash above clutch pedal.Fire extinguisher should be mounted in that spot below seat and not a PTO cable.
Hey bud it’s claas not class 😅have a good one 4:19
You need to save some cardboard for crawling on the floor
Would love to have sewing machine
OMG give carhardt sales pitch a break, geez...
Motors run electricity
A Pallet Rack in front of the Back Wall would be great to store bigger Parts.
Dont know how common they are over the sea, but here you can finde them used very cheap.
Greetings frow Switzerland
i don't know why you keep calling it robert's little hammer.. that looks like a perfectly average sized hammer that would make a lot of people very satisfied. it's all about how you use the hammer, anyway.
This ridiculing Robert is how he alienates his friends to become enemies.
He is just making fun off a short hammer
A average sized hammer has a longer handle
@@willianvos3521 you do know Robert is very short is the reference for the small hammer.
@@davdhynes3518 you've never had real friends if they can't take a joke. Grow a pair
@Richard-zz7gm exactly 🤣🤣
Can't order don't have a credit card
4:19 Paint needs to go in the house so it doesn't freeze at night.
Nope that's not why . He borrowed it from Robert
Someone needs to send him a fire cabinet for the spray cans
Vevor diesel heaters are great until they aren't. Customer support sucks!!!
Do you have recycling stations There. Recycle your cardboardmountain dew cans, beer cans. Many things can be recycled. I dairy farm and recycle a lot from the barn in the house. It all helps.
@Richard-zz7gm the demand for it is decreasing. I have a company in my area who collects cardboard they had to rent a large building for storage because of low demand
You need 383's, not 385. That's what we run on our small dump trucks where I work.
And we run the foreign try axles on the steer axles.
You should cut down the original air cleaner top and put it inside the new one.
Hi Chris, I’ll take the soil machine
You are running outta time it’s fixen to be time for manure then you won’t have time to fix your plow or disc so you can work your fields and will have to take time off hauling manure and repair your equipment or buy some old used equipment to replace what’s broken. So what’s it gonna be? Personally maybe it’s time to find a little better old used disc at the very least but I don’t have a dog in this fight just worried about you and having your stuff ready. Since the winter you were supposed to repairing the field equipment was spent fixing a mistake and rebuilding the Mack so you could haul manure. But you have not done a single thing to get ready for spring tillage and planting. And no this isn’t a jab at the times you go to farm shows. Every hard working man needs his little escapes.
Big decisions to be made, corn is low $4.00 per bushel, talk is possible high $3.00 next year. That won’t even begin to cover the cost of planting corn. A 280 pound feeder calf was approximately 1300.00 that’s a lot of money, priced to perfection. Prices don’t need to come down much to be hemorrhaging money.
