Looks like you could use a mini skid steer or mini loader for some of your chores around the farm. I know the mini skid steer would be nice for in your really tight areas.
I used to love just getting all my chores done and then sitting there and then that day and listen to the cows eat just so calm and relaxed best part of the day
Been missing your videos went back to watch old ones hard to believe I had to go back two years to find one I hadn't seen yet. Keep up getting in a better place.
Cattle sure look nice !!!! Fresh bedding always makes them happy. Drill a hole in each end of the feeder. If you ever want it for water you can plug them . We had beautiful weather last week in Michigan.
Chris plowing is the best for corn growned, no tilling corn don't like it in hot weather ,we are in michigan and found plowing works best for us. Our corn grows better plowing the ground, everything your doing looks good and I know by your utube videos you take pride in what you do.
@@bzs187 that what makes a great farmer being able to adapt to all conditions we notill cheisl plow and molbored plow all depends on whether and field conditions I all to plow where I'm planning hay to get the field smooth
Hey Duffy I love your videos kip it up! One thing about mature spreading you need to let that sit down for attlest one year to get benefits from it. Hope all the best
Beef is currently really high right now. We just shipped some old dairy cows and got 98 cents a lbs live weight. My feeder steers brought 1.78 live weight. If you have the feed maybe expand your beef. Pls the extra manure and s awful nice. Good videos and good luck.
The big Mack is looking great. 😢 Your farm is looking good I worked on 2 farms in Vermont when I was a kid. Dairy farm. I used to carry the metal containers full of milk out to the edge of the road for the guy to Pick them up in the morning. I always love farming. Now it's apple trees, no more cows. Organic apples they sell well. You should put a nice orchard of macintosh apples. Those are the sweetest.
Winter projects are a must when farming. Gives time to catch up all small maintenance on the equipment. All part of the game like you always say. Love yenko give him extra scratches for all long distance fans
Looks awesome man. That 4640 is a very nice tractor. Your animals look awesome. Glad to see everything is going well. It's super wet up here in Washington County as well. Good time to scrap the trailer because it's up decent
As much as I enjoyed running a round baler, medium squares are the way, 4x3x6+. Surprised there aren't more wrappers thou so if got weather pressure ya can still bang out some bales & wrap for balage. Don't need shed storage and still lasts afew years if wrapped properly. Loving the way the R model came out dude, very sharp 👍🏻🚜🍻🐂🇳🇿
you should see what your local Amish brothers could do to tighten up/repair/paint your calf barn...cut off or weld those broken pipes before a calf gets hung up...
I’ve suggested that also . Work some barter out. Tear down that old barn, make some run ins or simple lean-to for lower equipment. Use the siding to patch the barn. Or barter silage
Howdy Chris, Yenko, I hope ya'll are doing well, How's the knee doing Chris ?? You haven't posted it a few days, and was wondering if it was because of your knee getting hammered the other day, anyways, good to see you back in action, doesn't appear that your knee is holding you back 👍 Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friend
Great video love the drone footage that old barn is lovely, pity u cant get too replaceing some of the boards and a lick of paint.will you be ploughing like last year, will it dry it out for you??☘️🇮🇪🛠️🛠️🛠️🚚🚚🙏🏻🙏🏻
I would check on the grass u chopp if it's get hot I would start feeding soon as possible or could have a firer or if it's getting air in there I would check make sure it's good feed

I love seeing cows get new bedding they always are so happy and they jump around and kick it's kind of cool
Beautiful scenery. It was nice to see you just sit down for a few minutes and enjoy your cows, dog and view.
that 4640 is soooo ssweet!!
Drill some small holes in the manger to keep the water out.

If you have a dry spring notill is better hold the moisture better we do both
@@scottberger4196 That's the fun part, you never know what your year will be. Weatherman can say anything and the opposite could happen.

Thanks again for your video's. Love the longer video's
Gotta say the calves are lookin good and the mack is lookin awesome
I used to use a pool strainer to get the debris out of the water troughs. And a spud bar to break the ice in winter.
Hey Chris, keep up the good work you’re doing a great job
That was great Chris thank you for sharing and your time can't wait for next video thank you .

A real good day!!! Hay hay hay 👍drone footage was superb. Keep learning too.
Chris, if you patch and sealcoat the roof, that trailer would make great large bale storage instead of your equipment shed.
Nice place Chris
Street sweeper brooms on a pole work awesome for cow brushes also just make sure the pole is set good
That manure spreader has some good range and spread.
Happy for ya man, nothin like a good day !😊

Hey Duffy maybe you can use the box trailer as your chemical storage put the trailer out the back somewhere
at first i couldn't understand why you dragged out the old bedding until i saw your plan ...... cool you got it right on Duffy
Paint that beautiful barn
Drill some holes in the bottom of the feeder so the water run out
Put a feedingtrog or a lowtrailer where the cows can eat from. When you start feeding from the silos. Just my opinion
The beefers are looking good
Little patch of corn you have left ,pick that by hand on a nice afternoon
The problem with stalk shredding in the fall without tillage is you make a Matt of residue that won't dry out in the spring
For the summer get some goldfish or koi for your water tank will help with the algae.
Toss the ball for Yenko! 😊
You need to check out the consul for the 46 tractors they built it would work great for his seat

Looks like those feilds need some tile
What’s your plan for crop rotation? Any other crops in mind? Corn on corn for many years not really a good idea
Sprinkle some mineral salt on the hay and they will lick the dirt clean.
You made the stop. Yay. Is there a place to store it on the tongue? Maybe a short chain also?
Ur gonna have fun mucking that out again 😂
Wouldn't you love to have a
100 loads to spread on the farm. Any unpicked corn go and pick it by hand for cattle.
It will be a real treat for them
Get a couple empty 30 gallon grease barrels they make go fence post holders.
With all your tires, I'm just curious why you don't your put them in by the tie stalls instead of in the hayloft.
Hey buddy what about using small square bales for ur set up that are made into a big square bale from a bale brone easy to work with
What was the puddle under the chopper
Build them a hay feeding rack in the bedding area.
That side slinger really wings the 💩 😂
Have you pulled out the Army trailer to make sure everything still works on it?
I seen a guy picking corn last Saturday in NW Indiana
Need to come up with a code to mark the tires on top. Number or letter 1 for 22.5, 2 for 24.5 etc
Is the Mack truck able to be used in its current state?
We just had 2 tornado touchdowns in souther Wisconsin last week
In a pinch you can move and stack round bales with a bucket and chain just not the method you used
Do you sprinkle lime on that concrete before adding new bedding?
He should
No lime under your bedding?
What does the lime do?
I have never in my life put lime in a shed after cleaning it

Man the bucket on that tractor is shot
Good to hear from you . 1 st
Thought they woulda wasted more hay. Not bad.
Did you have a profitable first year?
Might be to late but maybe a safety so it can’t fall off if you hit a big bump
Hose clamps work well
When can we get the oilpull video¿?¿?¿?
disk it twice and plant it

doing good
Chris are you going to try soybeans this year corn really dropped
Fixing is framing
How big are you going to let them get. 🥩🥩🥩
I've seen beer goggles, never manure goggles...
I hope you don't have a wet spring or I am afraid that chopping those corn stalks will keep the ground from drying out 🤔
I wouldn't go within an asses roar of that dusty hay! Lethal if you've got a bad chest. At least wear a mask.
"Wahder"???????????
"Prahbly"???????????
"Stock" shred what is that? Don't you mean "stalk" shred?
Stalk and stock are not homonyms.
If you are speaking of the closed captioning, he doesn't type it in, it is auto-generated, so the spelling on cc is not his fault... just an FYI 😊
Can we have a farm toy tour?
Still waiting
sure, go ahead, tour till your hearts content.
Drill dome hole in the hay bunk do water can escape
I would check on the grass u chopp if it's get hot I would start feeding soon as possible or could have a firer or if it's getting air in there I would check make sure it's good feed
