    This is an example of how a band could have all the elements that it takes to be successful, the look, professional video, a professionally good or great song, just as good as any other hit song of this genre, and they had large label management and promotional backing, but for whatever reason thats unknown, enough of the masses didn’t respond to it.

      I think the problem was that nu metal was very oversaturated by the time this came out. More and more bands came out in the early 2000s. It was the same with glam metal in the late 80s/ early 90s. A lot of good bands got overlooked.

LMAOO... Really, that word is just a scapegoat for bums to mask their own little world of self-perception insecurities, & stay locked up in their own little safe bubble. Sad. I personally still love the late '90s - early 2000's style; I never grew out of it, & I probably never will. It's timeless, & still flies easily with today's society - if you took away all the hot garbage, that is social media.

    I have been trying to re-think......"Who on earth DID this song???" Finally found it. From Zero's entire "One Nation Under" album has LOT of great tracks that are worth checking out. This band found the ability to be heavy, yet ultra-Melodic.

    I have an updated on the drummer of the band Kid aka Johnny Dinu. I listened to his interview with burn via podcast since from zero he starred in a minor role in the jersey boys directed by Clint Eastwood as the drummer. He is an accountant for a skincare company and is happily married father of two living in California. He has not aged one bit and still looks amazing.

    Perfect middle ground between 90's grunge and 2000's nu metal. With a touch of pop (arpeggios are fairly simple sped up grunge but not really). Sleeper hit for sure. They killed it in a few festivals late 90's.

    I remember buying this album back in 2004 in a Rolling Stone store in Chicago Illinois. I went there to buy an album I don't even remember at the moment, with the littles cash I have left I bought this album without knowing who they were, the album was just pretty affordable. Wow that was a discovery the whole album is great!!

      Normal mano, Nu Metal umas 5 bandas ganharam popularidade e umas 2000 bandas que ficaram desconhecidas. É triste porque ainda assim quando vão escutar algo do genero a galera nunca pensa em ir atrás de bandas assim

    I searched to find this song only because it made a part of my life happen. I always told eveyone how catchy it was since I saw it stayin with my grandma and they never believed me, or even knew what I was talkin about. I finally got the chance at it showed everyone that awesome songs come from lower level bands. From Zero made it, but only for a second. Still, Support local music...support rock.

    Dear arista records, why did you remove these guys, they were amazing, probably one of my favorite nu metal bands, their sound is very unique, you will probably never come along someone that matches their skill in the future.

      I'd hate to say it, but it's because the NuMetal trend was dying and this band probably didn't sell too well..

      When this came out nu metal was nowhere near close to dying. Nu metal was at its absolute peak in 2001. It was EVERYWHERE. Artista really sucked ass, they never gave these guys a chance. Lots of wasted potential.

    • @pillarsofserpents
      @pillarsofserpents 5 років тому +3

      Arista was NOT a rock label. they were pop and r&b. they had no business signing From Zero or Adema. they just did it for the cash grab because nu-metal was selling. however, they thought they could not promote those bands and still make money. once they realized they needed to invest, they bailed. lazy and shitty label.
