This band is a mix of Faith No More, Inucbus, Breaking Benjamin, and a little bit of Linkin Park in there as well 🤟🥁💯🔥🎸 discovered this band last year 2020
because they existed about 15 years ago and half their band left to be in Breaking Benjamin. They started as Strangers with Candy and premiered on battle of the bands on MTV with this song before changing their name to Lifer, after some of the guys left for BB, they rebranded as myDownfall very similar music. The music has the same feel, but by this point it evolved to be more upbeat. Most of their music lives on here on YT.

If you listen to the full album this song doesn't sound like the rest of the songs that's cos it was what the record company wanted, was a generic Nu metal song as a single (same as deftones with back to school)

i don't know about that. The Nu Metal Revival is indeed a thing nowadays, and more people are starting to pay attention again. Check out bands like Anti-Clone, Frontstreet, Jynx, Sickret, Keychain, Dirty Machine, Kissing Candice, N3RV, Dumbfound, Impact Noize, Inhabit, Hate Grenade, Pulverise, Coldcasket, as well as a slew of others. The fact that sub genres like Nu Metalcore and Nu Djent exist also contribute to the Nu Metal Revival being a thing.

Cobalt Sulphate Simon Says was pretty meh, haven't listened to Twisted Method much, but the rest of these bands have some good songs that you can find if you're gonna listen to them more closely. Skrape, on the other hand, I just couldn't stand listening to for more than a minute.

Tim Nijs not sure what's meant by "they're better in breaking Benjamin". From what I remember reading.... one member of this band known as Lifer left the group and ended up being part of breaking Benjamin. That person was Aaron Fink(guitarist). Perhaps I missed something. Did more than Aaron leave to join/form Breaking Benjamin?

Their better in breaking benjamin but i like this too :)
Tim Nijs not sure what's meant by "they're better in breaking Benjamin". From what I remember reading.... one member of this band known as Lifer left the group and ended up being part of breaking Benjamin. That person was Aaron Fink(guitarist). Perhaps I missed something. Did more than Aaron leave to join/form Breaking Benjamin?

This awesome song led me to Nick Coyle's music and eventually to loving the band Breaking Benjamin!
