This movie was way before it’s time. Especially at the beginning where the teenage kid yelled “shut the f**k up”. That was rarely heard of in movies and the general public back in 1981. These days you hear that everywhere whether it’s the movies or real life.
Man, there was at least 5 key phrases just from this scene alone that my friend and I would say. Now go on, and get da Fuhhkout But I don't have a busted headlight! Don't have a busted headlight??? SHIT! 😂😂😂
As u get older, the more the script is flipped, and u see Porky as the good guy. He was just running his club until a bunch of high schoolers he told to leave kept harassing.
If he just threw them out, then you’re right. He threw them in the water after lying to them, and when confronted about it like a man, he hid behind his brother, the sheriff.
@TheMightyThor83 He would've been in trouble beating up a bunch of kids. It's funny, he had them dunked for being in his club illegally. They destroyed the entire establishment at the end lol
@@nick56677 he wouldn’t have been in trouble if he brawled with the Angel beach kids. His brother was always his ace in the hole. Also, he eventually beats Mickey so bad he ends up in the hospital. It was great when they wrecked his club lol
Yep. His first film appearance was in the movie "Paper Lion" with Alan Alda where he played himself as a Detroit Lion DT. TV casting directors were so impressed by his performance and his natural acting ability that they offered him roles on TV shows and from there he went to the big screen.
Don't 4get about Fred Dryer & Merlin Olsen (both 4mer LA Rams players-turned-actors). The 4mer was "Hunter"; the latter was on "Little House On The Prairie" & also 1 of the best NFL color commentators ever.
Considering this movie is 8 years older than she is, I'd say it was before her time too. Thank gods we don't have police abusing their power and corrupted nepotism anymore! Oh, wait.
I've yet to hear of/see ANY "woke" event/protest around "book burning?" That is the MAGA/NAZIS/FASCISTS tactics of today. Recall how that played out, nearly a century ago.

I loved this part. Alex Karras played the part of the sheriff perfectly.👍👌
I don't think anyone else could have played the role better.
That's Webster's adoptive dad!
@@flavender It is interesting to see him play this role as well as Mongo as well as George on Webster.
@@flavender and Alex Karras’ wife played Cherry Forever in Porky’s.
@@fmagalhaes1521 Oh wow! I never knew that. Thanks for that interesting info. 👍
Gowon get the fuck out is delivered so well it’s impeccable 😂
That's right! He really showed out in that scene.
Alex Karras the sheriff was a hall of fame defensive tackle with the Detroit Lions.
He is now going into the Hall of Fame class of 2020.
Yeah he really was a tough SOB
Isn't he dead?

Go on GET THE FUCK OUT
Find me a man and I'll agree.
One of the repeated lines decades later 😂

I hope utube will show both Porky's movie they are hilarious I lmao
Alex Karras was easily the greatest jock turned actor in the biz.
And he is going to be the Hall of Fame. He was in the class of 2020!!!!

Yeah, those were the days. People weren’t constantly offended and laughed at jokes instead of “canceling” people for them. I miss those days.
This movie is woke. A bunch of kids destroy a night club for rednecks.
They truly don’t make them like this anymore,

Savannah's own. Resembles him a bit.
Next scene they are having food and how did they get the money to pay for it, since their dough was all taken here?
Looks like Billy might have took care of them.
They may have ran credit. It was a different time.
