I've never come across a more bitter sweet anime then Nana. I think this anime was the closest to reality as we can get. There won't be a happily ever after but all we can know is that there will be good times and bad and all we can hope is that were not alone through it all.
TOLD YA I'D BE COVERING SOME GOLDEN OLDIES! haha Nana is such an amazing series, I definitely recommend it. I personally didn't get into the anime as much as the manga (BUT YOU SHOULD STILL CHECK IT OUT. JUST TRUST ME OKAY), but this song is one of my all-time-favorites. I know I say that a lot, but I'm serious this time. I've had this song on my iPod since around 2007, and I'm still not sick of it. I'm constantly shuffling songs, so that's a huge feat for me! There's just something so fragile and endearing about this song and melody... I still can't put my finger on it, but it gives you a really warm and delicate feeling, and I think that innocence is what makes this song really special. I never thought I'd be able to get to this song, but thanks to my soldiers over on Patreon, I was able to make this a reality! Thank you so much for all of your love and support! This will be the last cover this year, but get ready for 2016~ I have a lot in store for you guys!

- Dee yeah I've read the manga and it's really sad. and the manga is still on hiatus but ai yazawa the author had announced in the japanese magazine ROLA that she continues the manga. that means Nana comes back :D
i read the manga first and watched the anime bc of the manga. honestly, the anime did not do the manga justice. although the events are the same, the feeling is deftinitely different in the anime and i personally think it didn't truly depict the actual emotions and vibe that the author intended. i think watching the anime before the manga is a HUGE mistake. it's a masterpiece that unfortunately wasn't completed :(
What happens after the anime ends??? I have no idea and would really like to know . I would find out for myself but I can't right now sadly so would really appreciate it if someone told me!.!.!.!..!
Queen E. I think it's something you should definitely read on your own when you DO have the time. Read NANA and feel the full wave of emotions or else you'll definitely regret not doing so. I'm not exaggerating either. Reading it is faster than watching it. It took me like 2 weeks to complete the manga but like 1 month to complete the anime which was like half way to the manga
I've finished the anime today and the ending was too much to handle... :c I've never in my life seen an anime with characters as realistic, human, relatable and well written as Nana... The anime and the manga deserve a LOT better 💔💔

I liked her back when she was country because honestly country was going down hill and she bring something nice to the genre but when she went full on pop I was kinda "meh" about it. Then when she released songs like Never Ever Getting Back Together and Shake It Off I was just done and annoyed. Most recently I've been more ok with her work but still a little disappointed. Like I said in my original post I don't like her voice much. I love a raspy tone but hers is just weird to me. i remember watching a few episodes of this show. I think it was my first down to earth realistic anime. Just a show about the life and struggles of two individuals trying to cope with each other as well. At least, that's what I remember. I should give it a watch again.

+LeeandLie really? Maybe I should see her live some time. I just don't like her voice. I liked her back when she was country because honestly country was going down hill and she bring something nice to the genre but when she went full on pop I was kinda "meh" about it. Then when she released songs like Never Ever Getting Back Together and Shake It Off I was just done and annoyed. Most recently I've been more ok with her work but still a little disappointed. Like I said in my original post I don't like her voice much. I love a raspy tone but hers is just weird to me. Not that it's terrible or anything but just in certain songs where you want a dreamy feel it sounds weird to me. Am I making any sense? Btw I'm a huge fan ever since your cover of Pon Pon Pon!

i remember watching a few episodes of this show. I think it was my first down to earth realistic anime. Just a show about the life and struggles of two individuals trying to cope with each other as well. At least, that's what I remember. I should give it a watch again.
