Thermal paste and virus scan even if they don't hint. Generally I pop a CPU with the required value but I've OC several after running OCCT to determine a base operating temperature then I aim for cooling things with high CFM fans
So I just got my first overclocking job with bringing the cpu to 5000 MHZ and installing a custom water cooler, I can do both of those just fine, but when I go to turn in the computer I get a 1 star review because of thermal throttling and I can't change any of the original parts so it wont let me upgrade the case or CPU or anything. And his case is so small and the RAM and/or the reservoir keeps constantly getting in the way that I can't install any better cooling or more fans to bring the temperature down. So I have no idea what to do anymore with this particular job and it's frustrating me.
