I have never seen a man or woman have to try harder to be personable to other people than Megyn Kelly. She looks physically uncomfortable and so out of her element. Hopefully she somehow channels it eventually. Really though, why anyone ever thought a Fox News correspondent could ever work on the Today Show is beyond me. She wasn't trained as a Communications major, and she was never a journalist. She was a lawyer who become a television personality for a conservative cable correspondence network. Does not sound like the background that I would transfer over for a one hour light hearted morning new talk show.

Hey Dave go comment on someone's else initial comment. I'm allowed to critique Megyn Kelly as much as I want, as long as it's legitimate points. She's come after enough people in her own journalism career that she can take it.
I view it like this. You are right, she is trying to be personable. But I applaud her effort. It's like you said, she went from attorney to conservative network and now she just wants to have more of a fun job after all that. So she is a little out of her element, but it's a challenge for her and I applaud her for trying.
So I guess I find her effort to be more personable cute. That's my viewpoint on it.
