This is the most human I've seen a media outlet represent her in YEARS. She looks so relaxed, and I can't remember the last time an interview highlighted her sense of joy. I hope they show her this respect going forward.

It's crazy how so many of the young women who were bullied and scrutinized relentlessly by the media in the early 2000's are actually lovely, intelligent and talented people who just grew up under a microscope. Glad to see Lindsey back out here.

I’m surprised on how much she remembers, every detail she has it down. It was fun to hear them too. She was one of my faves growing up.
My biggest takeaway is she is just a really appreciative person who sees and loves the people who have come into her life. She has something so kind specific to each person to say and it just makes me want to meet them all. What a special and sweet soul

It's pretty apparent at this point that making children famous is ultimately horrible for them and their mental and physical health. It should be illegal. 95% of child stars end up having mental health struggles and addiction problems. I'm glad society is finally showing more sympathy for the survivors of this.

But either she got some of those surgery mess ups reversed, or maybe the foods she's eating sort of, fixed some of that. But to be quite honest, she looks great now.

The pressures of fame and our media destroyed her psychological health (the media glare, stage parents, abuse, exploitation, neglect), it's incredibly heartwarming to see her getting to this place and appear to be so happy and healthy now after everything she's been through in the last two decades. It was refreshing to see her in this light. A genuine real human being. We get so caught up in all the gossip and paparazzi we forget entertainers have feelings of inadequacy, remorse for mistakes and appreciation for family. This little 16 minutes helped me understand who she really is a bit.

I love that she acknowledges how her behavior must’ve affected her siblings. That shows real growth and accountability 👏
She was struggling with mental health issues and then was completely exploited by the paparazzi and a media that hated women and blamed them for everything. If anything, she was a victim of a toxic system that tried to frame her as the villain and then would say “See, I told u” when she had a breakdown.
Of course someone will have a breakdown after being harassed and misconstrued for so long. That’s only natural. Child starts of that era in Hollywood had a particularly hard time, especially girls, and it’s no surprise she struggled.

I always loved lindsay growing up. It was awful the way she was treated by the media and 'certain' people. She's lovely, talented and has a big heart. If any one deserves a comeback it's lindsay. It's nice to see her doing well and looking healthy and happy. 💯❤️

@@lindseyl8394 Not everyone needs to be on Meryl Streeps acting level to be considered a good actor. There are different types of actors and characters that they excell in. Lindsay was great in her roles.
@@lindseyl8394 I think she was popular more for her energy and charisma than acting ability. She was just really likeable. Although I thought her acting was actually pretty impressive in Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. She could have improved much more in her 20's... the world was her oyster. But unfortunately she derailed herself with all of the substance abuse and drama. It's not too late for her to make a comeback, though. No, I don't think she'll ever be on a Meryl Streep type level but she can still be a force.

I am so happy to see her so happy and healthy. She is an inspiration to many people, she proved that after going through very difficult things it is possible to recover and get back in control of your life and not many can say that. Ten years ago I was fresh out of an abusive marriage and to block the pain I became a heroin addict. I went to jail seven times in two years. Now I've been clean for six years and I own a business making spell/ritual candles.
My mother visited me in jail once and said "You've been through a lot of really really terrible things and I feel for you. But it's time to move past it now," and that flipped a switch in my brain and I never looked back. It IS possible to recover and take control of your life; I tell a lot of my customers that life isn't supposed to be something that happens TO you. You can turn your life into anything you want.
It seems like she’s really healed and come out wiser.

I grew up seeing her. I am so proud how she changed within the years in a positive and healthy way.
She is positively glowing. With all the horrid things of the past, I'm glad she is able to move forward and flourish. I hope she gets a resurgence because Freaky Friday and Confessions of a Teenage Girl was on repeat for me when I was a teen.
