0:35 When your camera is capable of spinning at 1000 rpm without self destruction, not breaking after falling at terminal velocity and leaving a huge crator AND remain intact in a pig pen for years, that's when you know your camera is OP
Nobody talking about the fact the camera spun so fast that the image stabilized temporarily and we could see where the camera was going. Pretty cool stuff.
Nerd time So basically what causes it to look like that is “rolling shutter” basically nowadays cameras scan the top a fraction of a second earlier than the bottom, meaning if something spins really fast it distorts the image temporally edit: jemand explains it more scroll down
I love every part of this. The fact it landed on a pig pen, how the camera still works, and how the shutter speed matches the fast rotation speed. Dang THAT THING MUST HAVE BEEN ROTATING SO FAST ON THE WAY DOWN! And the pig at the end lol.
It's because of the time of its rotation, for example, let's say that the camera supports 30 frames per second, and it starts spinning very fast, when the image get still, it means it is making 30 rotations per second, so yeah, it's very quick and complex but I am too lazy to explain further
Yeah so to explain further, since the camera will record a frame every 30th of a second. So that means that if the camera is rotating that fast (30 rotations per second) then every 30th of a second, it is facing the same direction
Just like an ant falling from a skycrapper, it may be a matter of friction and surface area : every object has a max speed while falling in the atmosphere, thus there is a height above which no more kinetic energy will be stored in the object falling:)
@@prodzidane my guess would be that the camera is going so fast that it starts to match the cameras frames that are taken each second for the recording and you can start to see a few clear images but I'm honestly not completely sure
The camera snaps every frame when it's pointed at the exact same angle because it's spinning just as fast as it is recording frames. So it appears as though it's not spinning at all.
Bruh the fact that it survived the fall intact and kept recording is insane. The pig coming over immediately to check it out is just the icing on the cake
I don’t think it’s real. The camera was held manually by a person in the beginning so it makes no sense that it doesn’t fall over when it spun a zillion times.
I keep thinking that the icing on the cake would have been an image of the pig looming above the camera and taking a vicious dump on it. "Icing on the Cake"
It’s kind of a cool effect how the camera was also spinning so fast it got in sync with itself. That and not breaking at terminal velocity. 10/10 durability rating.

@@fabriziobrutti1205 yeah but maximum velocity with an uneven weighted object will result in astronomical rotation speeds so its not far fetched to be double that. Go pro doesn't put out 30fps so its can't be 3600.
Why is no one talking about how fast and perfectly the camera is rotating like it's mounted on helicopter blades.
I didnt know that was even happening, I was so confused why it looked like that
@@josephchavez1489 me too!! I was like why is it like that, why is it spiralling soo much?!!
If it was shooting at 30 fps it was rotating 30 times per second or a multiple of it, sync
@@RonaldoTalison thats an interesting point
I was about to talk about it...but this comment already exists
Camera is made of bedrock

the camera: **falls**
also the camera: **breaks the speed of light and entered the 8th dimension**
@Peter John YTP be careful with your mouth, we don't even know yet what that creature is
Still the camera : * survive the fall*
@@browtf621 it is a pig
@@nickianamixer12 you didn't get the joke
@@nickianamixer12 no it's not.. it's a creature from another dimension we've yet to find out
I love how the camera spins at the speed of light bruh
U kidding right ?
I felt like I was going to have a seizure.
@@bishmajayasundara727 no, its spinning at the same speed as the frame rate of the camera. Some birds wing flaps is just as fast look up
Spins faster than sound B)
Reminds me of a broken VHS tape or when you rewind it and it goes all funny
We’re lucky the camera faced upwards at the sky when it landed or we wouldn’t have gotten to see the pig
This comment hit me harder than than the camera hit on pig's shit
I kinda didn’t want it facing upwards, the pig was gross 🤢 😅
Dont worry, if it happens, the pig will turn the camera upward
😂😂
