This explains why our genius Amazon driver delivered $3000 worth the camera equipment 1/4 mile down the road and just left it in an alley. Thankfully I walked the entire area on foot looking for it because he keeps dropping our stuff at random houses usually only a few doors down. I figured he's setting us up in some kinda package theft scheme but given we live in the mountains he's probably sucking down shine lol

I did it cold turkey which I don’t recommend if you’re still drinking heavily.I weaned myself off of Hard Liquor and drank box wine and tapered off.
I was down to 1 glass at night when I quit. It I’d just tried to stop when I was drinking 1\2 gal of vodka and 1.2 gal of whiskey every 2 days, would’ve killed me. I was also put on a CPAP a few months earlier and I was also on heavy pain meds.My new Dr was absolutely shocked I was alive. Drug war kills Americans needlessly, makes cartels (violent mass murderers) rich, causes violence, theft and tons of other crimes, wastes law enforcement time and resources, fills jails and prisons with non violent offenders leading to no space to hold violent criminals who are more and more often being released on probation and right back on the street to continue their destructive behaviors. Every country in the history of humanity that has ever tried to make drugs illegal has eventually realized that policing morality and an individual citizens decisions regarding what they choose to consume is not only ineffective, but impossible to enforce and detrimental to societal well being. If we legalized all drugs we would most assuredly see the almost instant dissolve of the cartels that are murdering countless Central American citizens, buying off and bribing law enforcement and politicians from a local to a national level and poisoning hundreds of thousands of American citizens with cheap and dangerous drugs manufactured without safeguards or any concern for the end user in mind but rather for their low cost, ease of production and most importantly and above all, the enormous profit they bring with a blatant disregard for the death and destruction their drugs cause. If we took all the funds being spent fighting the drug war and put it towards producing chemically clean, safer drugs and State run facilities to diagnose, treat and dispense these pharma grade drugs to the users with an ever present path laid out toward rehabilitation and treatment available at all times, if and when a user should decide to end their use and get clean. Switzerland has a wonderful model of the distribution of pharmaceutical heroin to addicts daily by a licensed physician and it has proven to not only reduce societal ills associated with drug use like homelessness and crime but also has lead to virtually zero illicit heroin use on the street and addicts living more fulfilling, productive, healthy lives that provide a net benefit to society rather than the boon that they were before the legalization program. Nothings perfect and no government will ever create the perfect society but the blind insanity of persecuting drug users here in the USA has got to end soon. The pros outweigh the cons by a landslide. To maintain the status quo is to continue to knowingly enable criminals to profit and kill at will and to continue to punish innocent citizens who seek to self medicate with or recreationally use drugs.

My sister is an ICU intensivist. They admitted a drunk/unresponsive homeless guy to her hospital. They bypassed the ER when they realized how high his BAC was, and they brought him to the ICU. My sister shook him hard and raised her voice, and he woke up on his own. He walked out of the hospital under his own recognizance. 0.628 BAC. My sister asked the senior docs and nuns if anyone could recall a higher BAC. They could not. I often think of him and wonder how much longer he lived.

THE TEACHER: So while being investigated & being asked which cup she drank from, was it in the car, in your classroom, your car, etc. She says there is a cup on her desk in the classroom. The cops inquire further & she admits that THhAT particular cup was 'from yesterday'.
So if you think about it she left a cup with wine in it - no matter if its two ounces or three-quarters full - you left a cup of wine - in your classroom, on your desk, overnight.
So while she was teaching YESTERDAY - she obviously had a cup of wine accompanying her - assumidly, in a classroom full of kids - and same thing today, regardless if she had a sip out of it or not you had an intoxicant sitting in plain site, infront of a room full of kids. An unconscionable, thoughtless & dangerous act. Obviously not your first time doing this - yet you profess that you care about your students - hmmm, yah, it shows. I'd bet once these parents find out about their teachers activities theyll want her to experience the worst punishment possible.
Such a shame that a mid-fourties married woman hasnt been able to realize she's got a problem - and obviously her husband has already had this exact same conversation with her - hence why she doesnt want to call hubby to pick her up.
Very unfortnate that shes just blown her university education, how many years of teaching, her pension, etc. Hope she receives the treatment for her disease. Unfortunate when so many ppl want and need jobs - and with a shortage of teachers in U.S. and Canada. What a shame!

Several takeaways from this. Feel free to add to it.
    1) The cops are way to focused on vilifying the mushroom dude when there is likely far worse crime in the neighborhood.
    2) Drunk teachers husband probably knows that she's a raging alcoholic and has threatened to leave her, but she still could have called a taxi instead of going to jail. He'll definitely find out.
    3) Jewell is a budding pedo that fortunately was caught before he committed worse. But he won't last 5 seconds in jail being both a pedo and a crybaby like that.
    4) The lady thief that stole over $20k got a lighter sentence than most first-time marijuana offenders in my state.

It took multiple months of “investigation”. Like you could’ve made 2 buys a week apart with 2 different undercover or informants and boom, that’s intent to distribute. But this took months to get the guy making a $100 a week on the side. Such a joke and waste of money.

Drunk teacher -- they act like she was running a criminal conspiracy to encourage all teachers to drink on the job. I wouldn't send her back to teaching, but a drug program and counseling would be more effective and FAR CHEAPER than a jail term. Maybe thirty days to clue her into the seriousness, but years in jail basically for being a drunk? Her drive to work was probably more dangerous than her drunk teaching.

But I can empathize with her, I gave up alcohol in late 2017 and haven't drank since, it's a hard fight and it never really ends. It gets a little bit easier maybe with time but it never fully concludes and the battle is never really "won", you have to be on guard every single day. Glad you made it through and I hope that teacher did too, alcohol really is an insidious poison and it boggles the mind why it's so standard in society meanwhile other pretty harmless substances are looked down upon.

The truth is we are under maritime law. The police enforce Policy. That's why their called Police. It's Policy that any one caught in a commercial capacity is subject the law of Policy. In other words engaging in a non-commercial act is open. The drunk teacher is under the rule of government property so they will make their money. But when you take a kid or anyone to a public bathroom to have sex with them unfortunately is not under the Policy of a commercial capacity Policy. But stealing is considered a commercial capacity because people resale stolen items. I know it sucks. But pay attention to who get's arrested and what they are charged with. The pedo was on probations for another offence and what got him probation was more than likely something else. But i don't feel sorry for him

    • @SpydersByte
      @SpydersByte 22 дні тому +7

of course they let him out, what do you expect them to do, jail him for life for an *attempted* crime? Hell they dont even know what that crime wouldve been, its just an allegation that he tried to pull someone into a bathroom. What he was doing may be disgusting but we cant just lock people away because they TRIED to commit a crime, thats not how our justice system works, nor how it should work. We punish people for what theyve done and what he did was not all that serious in the grand scheme of things so of course he didnt do time for it.
(edit: ok, yes Im aware that there are "attempted X" crimes but the attempt itself has to be illegal, and you have to know what they were attempting to do. Attempted murder is obvious, you tried to murder someone and failed. Attempted robbery is obvious, you tried to rob someone and failed. But there is no "attempted jaywalking" because you either jaywalk or you dont, there's no "attempted DUI" because you either drive drunk or you dont. We dont have any clue what the fool wouldve done if he was actually successful in dragging someone into the bathroom so what are you going to charge him with? Attempted pulling-someone-into-a-bathroom? Attempted r@pe? kidnapping? murder? We dont know and there wouldnt be enough evidence for any of those claims. At the most he could probably be charged with like simple battery or something and my point was that kind of offense is not going to keep him off the streets for long, if at all. So you dont need to comment about the fact that there are 'attempted' charges, Im well aware of that, sorry for not wording my post correctly.)

It's no different where I live in Canada and I am pretty certain all of the largest countries prohibit fungus. I can't say I know for sure but how do you figure China would react to this "crime"? I am willing to bet that's a death sentence over there. 90% of the world needs to get it's priorities straight, it's not just the USA.

@@jdrobinson3468 It's food poisoning that can cause a psychotic episode in those who were already likely to have one. This is the only real risk.
It's not like there is a Walter White of shrooms. There's no shrooms cartel. There's no one who lost their home, friends, jobs, and family over their shrooms addiction.
Again, aside from the risk of psychotic episode, I'd go as far as saying cannabis has far more destructive potential than shrooms (+ also comes with the risk of drawing out latent psychoses), and it's also more ethically dubious because non-legal pot *does* have significant involvement by organized crime.

As a recovering alcoholic, I can just feel that first woman's seizures coming on... Sadly too few people realize that at a certain point in an alcoholics habitual drinking pattern, the body can no longer tolerate the absence if alcohol. Stopping drinking " cold turkey" may then actually be dangerous to the point of seizures and even death. So if you know anyone who may be struggling, please be advised that medical help should be sought and that patience for the healing of a real physical problem is crucial.

Well our system isn't perfect. But I mean imagine if we didn't have a system at all. When I was younger I was doing a lot of bad stuff. Using drugs and completely lost. I always thought the cops were out to get me. Because I always was hiding something. Lol
Fast forward to now. I am grateful that the police are around. But unfortunately Soros backed DA's do not allow courts to prosecute anymore. They arrest murderers and rapists(sometimes not even being american citizens) and they get released. And we are dangerously headed towards a time where there won't be any police as we know it anymore. Most of them are average people and live in the communities. But they have been demonized and defunded for years. So what happens when this all culminates? And they hang up their badges ? Lawlessness. Federalized police forces and military with martial law. And then militant groups and militias fighting. That will be straight up hell that no one is prepared for. It wouldn't be like the hood. Or the wild West it would be pure hell. And if/ when that happens we will be reminiscing about the good ole days.
Think bout that. Dislike them an Judge them. Nonetheless they still are the protective hedge that keeps our lives from complete anarchy.
