I finished & maidened my sig kadet LT-40, nitro to electric conversion last week. Maidened it last Wednesday. What an absolute pleasure to fly! Brings back the great memories of 25+ years ago (of the same plane), but withOUT the nasty mess & noise! 👍 Of the 22 i bought, (estate sale. He died from cancer, & i used to fly with him, race rc cars with him, 25+ years ago), the kadet LT-40 has been the best one! 👍👏👏👏

I like that Horizon is offering PNP balsa kits. I’m not too fond of the two offerings so far but I look forward to seeing what’s next. If the offer a 10cc Valiant, Cherokee or Cessna in the PNP, my money is spent.
Cracks me up that you go completely over the fact that this is not a pure scale plane, it is fun scale. Then the first comment I read is someone mentioning that they are not a fan of fun scale and prefer pure scale. Hilarious!
I’d much prefer having an airplane fly well, then have it look scale and be a bitch to fly and land. Want a scale plane buy a plastic model and look at it on a shelf! IDK it looks perfectly fine too me!!!
How much weight did your dad add to the nose for 4s? I thought I remembered you mentioning that in one of your videos on this plane. Awesome job on the videos, keep up the great work. Super cool you and you dad can share a hobby like this!

A $500 dollar plane that will be in a billion peices with one bad crash when instead i can get balsa planes all day for free and convert them over to electric with spare parts accumulated over the years seems much more appealing to me!

🤷♂️ plane is a blast to fly lots of scale P-47 out there if that’s what a guy wants though 😉

I like the P47 razorback better. Nevertheless, it's still a good balsa warbird.

Yea it’s a fun scale plane made to fly good not to be scale. But they also have a scale version it’s just more expensive 😉
