    Introduction
During World War II, Fairchild PT-19s turned thousands of raw recruits into combat-ready fighter pilots. PT-19s were a critical part of the primary flight-training program, hence one of the most widely manufactured aircraft. Although not a trainer, RC pilots with a bit of time behind the sticks will love how the new Hangar 9® Fun Scale PT-19 PNP handles in the air.
Foam RC pilots will be familiar with the PT-19 brushless outrunner power system, enjoy a wide variety of battery options, and easy field assembly. The all-wood airframe is finished in genuine UltraCote® film that's long-lasting and easy to maintain. Modern and innovative Spektrum electronics will bring the PT-19 to life and allow you to fly it how you want, from sport aerobatics to touch-n-go practice. The new Hangar 9® Fun Scale PT-19 PNP features outstanding sport-plane flying characteristics at a great value.
    Features
Expertly constructed with lightweight, laser-cut balsa and plywood
    Plug-N-Play® Completion Level
Fits a wide variety of battery options to provide a wide range of performance and flight times.
No glue is required for the main assembly, and it can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery
    Painted fiberglass cowl
60-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides real-time battery voltage, current, motor RPM, and other data via compatible receivers and transmitters
    Factory-installed 4250-600Kv Brushless Outrunner Motor
Optional-use landing gear fairings and pilot increase the realistic appeal
Four factory installed Spektrum™ A391 servos
Large top hatch makes access to electronics and batteries convenient.
Two-piece, bolt-on wings for more accessible transportation and field assembly
Covered in genuine Hangar 9® UltraCote® film
Efficient 14 x 8.5 wood propeller included for 3-4S Lipo battery powered. (5S and 6S LiPo batteries require a propeller change).
FLYING A BALSA AIRCRAFT HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER
Hangar 9 brings one of the primary trainers used in World War II designed for RC sport and scale pilots looking to transition from foam models to balsa. It features lightweight balsa and plywood construction and is finished in genuine UltraCote® that's long-lasting and easy to maintain. The two-piece, bolt-on wings allow for convenient transportation and setup. Pilots can be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery. At the workbench, the PT-19 assembly is easy, with only standard tools needed. All you need to do is bolt the model together, install the receiver, charge a battery and fly. The new Hangar 9® Fun Scale PT-19 PNP is a balsa model with outstanding sport-plane flying characteristics at a great value.

Great little the P47, nice job Robert but I still would prefer a little piston power maybe you need to trade your electrics in on some real power.🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂 From the engine doctor Australia.

Robert! You worked this plane like a day job!
I don't think I have seen you go inverted like that for so long. You threw that baby all over the sky.
Robert asking the wooden PT-19 "whose your daddy".
YES the technical aspects of the military planes of that time is fascinating. This is a time of very fast aircraft development. From the mid 30's to the mid 40's biplanes to the first jets.
If the wood P-47 felt heavier and like it needed to be flown with more power and speed compared to the PT-19 I would call that accurate, the PT-19 is a dainty lady for training pilots. A Thunderbolt is a BEAST. P-47 Looks like a railroad locomotive with wings. So I would think it's pretty good scale flying if the Thunderbolt needs a strong pilot on the stick. Blaz your filming always outstanding and your pictures of the beautiful motorcycle and restored C-47 on your Facebook page is really good.
You had me researching that plane late one night last week.
    SALUTE!!

When doing a loop, pull the throttle off at the top of the loop and add it back once straight and level again at the bottom. Doing loops at full power you risk the wings clapping lol.

Hey guys, another great video as usual. I'm 63 and my hands don't work well in the cold anymore so I got this mitten that covers your forearm, hands and transmitter with a window over the transmitter itself to see everything. I know Capt Robert's hands are busted up like mine so you might want to try one of these mittens. You can find them on ebay and other places on the internet. I would have sent you a picture but I don't know your email and I don't do farsebook. I hope this helps and I look forward to your next video.

Excellent prop on this, I thought it would fly like this. Great landing and fab filming from Capt Blaz. The loop and top of stall bits are so realistic, as are the fly bys, precisely BECAUSE it's a bit heavier, and that bit more rigid than a foam plane. Even with carbon bars, a foamie's wings will flex more than a balsa structure, and together with some fine flying and a perfect prop for slow and sexi, this is a balsa dream. The sound is amazing also! Big salute as ever from London. 🌟🌟👍
