i like when you tell drivers off makes me laugh ,love your car reviews keep it up barrie
Im trying my best not to, but they make it so hard not to
Watching this I was thinking how come Lancashire car dealers have their ads so well sorted, having recently watched another chap demonstrating a Honda Jazz EX, and memorably struggling with the bluetooth in a car park. So I looked that up again and realised that it was non other than the same Barrie Crampton. Top reviews sir! Others could learn from you. Keep up the good work.
thanks, much appreciated, and thanks for watching too
Great colour and sharp looking little car.
I can only guess, the flat bottom steering wheel, allows more clearance for your knees, at a high seat adjustment.
But what about when you turn a corner? 😂
Hmm?? Well this is what they say. carfromjapan.com/article/car-maintenance/flat-bottom-steering-wheel/
Love the video
Thank you and thanks for watching
great car i know i have 1 2016 been mapped custom exhaust and lowered love it.
Looking to buy one of these mate. Would you recommend? What were your figure after the map? I'm coming from a MK4 GTI
@@KevinsChili I get about 36mpg where I live and its alot of stop start at 70mph milton keynes.not much 40mph where I live and motorway is like 50 mpg after my map
Get about 190 peek 200bhp also
@@danielwoodland9576 great thank you very much bud :)
What year is this polo?
Will the insurance be high for a new driver
May be better with a 1 litre,
Do you think it’s to big of an engine for a new driver
I don’t but the insurance company might, id get an insurance quote and see if its affordable, make sure you include a parent as a named driver
Perfect thanks mate
@@scottlees816 there is to many variables m8 to know that for sure as where u live.age.ndc if any.etc etc.best way m8 is to do comparison for the car and see what u can get on one just pop the reg in or look for the car and see what u get.i paid 920 in full for my 1st yr i was 26 now i pay 564 around =.if u can pay in full also works out cheaper.
Do you think the acceleration feels strong ?
How does it compare to a golf?
In terms of drivability? And driving experience?
if you can afford the golf and need the extra space, the golf is good, but the polo is a great car too
@@BarrieCrampton thank you! that helps a lot, I might buy a polo then as I don't need extra space
Way to many colours in the interior for my taste. With the size of Golf 1 this Polo is quite the car you'll ever need.
Having in mind your opinion on start/stop system, I was curious to hear the same for the cylinder deactivation. I find it similarly stupid, but it might be just me :)
The cylinder deactivation doesn’t cut your whole engine out completely just before you pull out in front of a bus, and it doesn’t wear all the components in your engine out restarting (just my opinion)
@@BarrieCrampton Yeah... but increase the wearing of the active cylinders, I guess...
Winnie-the-Pooh says: 2 is more then 1... and 4 is better then 3 or 2 :)
Benzinio cylinders don’t wear for many many years and the amount of time they are deactivated is only a fraction of total running time.
I admit, I'm not very familiar with the system - it just doesn't seams right to me.
Do you know whether they are rotating or the active 2 are fixed permanently?
by the way if it is "only a fraction time" then savings are insignificant for a expensive system that may only cause a problems and expensive repairs...
